This apt is no way an elegant escape. The neighborhood was extremely uninviting with abandoned buildings and empty lots across the street. I felt unsafe, and the first night I wondered if our rental car was going to be vandalized. (It wasn’t.) Even though the tenants in the building were friendly it is still a rough neighborhood. This apartment was listed as having two queen beds. Beware- the beds are full-sized, which is 54 inches across, not 60 inches, which is the size of a queen bed. (The host insisted that the beds are as she listed. She wrote queen beds, they’re full beds)All the smoke detectors were chirping, which was quite loud. We had to climb on a chair and take them down. The apartment is on 3 levels. There is a half bath on first level along with a kitchen and living room. There was not a hand towel nor soap in that half bath. There is one bedroom and bathroom each on the upper levels. So lots of stairs. Extra hooks or towel bars would have been helpful in the upper bathrooms. The thermostat is located on the second level causing the main level to be chilly, so bring a warm sweater. The apartment was clean and spacious but with all the issues, especially the smaller beds than expected I do not recommend.

To some it up, I will definitely come back. Everything was perfect, we wasn't in the apartment most of the time, but each day out I found myself won't to go back to apartment to chill. We enjoyed our stay.
