About this property

Historic 19th Century Hudson Brownstone

Summary:
Step into timeless elegance within our historic 19th-century Hudson brownstone. This beautifully restored home blends antique charm with subtle modern twists, original details, curated furnishings, and sunlit rooms. Nestled in the heart of Hudson, you'll be walking distance to galleries, acclaimed dining, coffee shops, breweries, and boutiques. The Mulford Alden House is perfect for a group of up-to-7 seeking a refined getaway, offering comfort, history, and style in one of the Hudson Valley’s most vibrant towns.

The Space:
With over 2,000 square feet of refined brownstone living, the Mulford Alden House comfortably sleeps 7 guests and is the most unique experience you can enjoy in Hudson NY. You'll be walking distance to the best antique shops, coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries and the soon to be finished pocketbook factory redevelopment (launching in October) which includes a spa, bathhouse and thousands of square feet of new retail.

Step into your first floor communal parlor for family/friend relaxation, board games, and fireside (decorative!) chats. Upstairs on the second floor, enjoy our beautifully designed kitchen/living area (with Queen sleeping space) including your first full bathroom and leading out into your 600 sqft private and renovated patio, perfect for a morning coffee, family hangout, or luxurious outdoor dinner. As you make your way up to the third floor, an antique clawed-foot soaking tub awaits you, so you can enjoy bubble bath bliss as the light from the stained glass window filters in. Next door you have your primary bedroom with king bed, and second bedroom with queen and twin (single) beds for the ideal friends and family layout. Below is the specific breakdown of the space by area/room:

FRONT EXTERIOR:
- Front porch area easily identified by the two greyhound statues out front. There is also a 2 seater bench next to the front door entrance.
- There is a flight of 5 steps to get to the front door

PARLOR ROOM:
- Large open concept room (no technology!) with comfy couch, communal table, working desk and decorative fireplace/mantlepiece

LIVING ROOM:
- Large open concept connected to the kitchen. Features comfortable seating, and a blended-in Frame TV (see if you can spot it!). There is no cable TV, only streaming apps.

DINING AREA:
- There are four areas you can setup for dining. We have a 4-seater antique table tucked in the corner of the living room. A 4-seater breakfast bar is located right in the kitchen. Our 6-seater communal table located downstairs can be found in the Parlor. We also have a 6-seater outside on the back patio for use, weather permitting.

KITCHEN:
- Kitchen stocked with appliances and many amenities for your cooking pleasure. *Keurig Combo Coffee Machine

WASHER/DRYER
- Full size washer/dryer located in the living room closet on the second floor

BATHROOMS:
2 FULL bathrooms:
Bathroom 1: Located in the living room area off the kitchen on the 2nd floor.
Bathroom 2: Located a step or two outside both bedrooms on the 3rd floor. Includes antique claw-foot soaking tub (which you will love)!

BEDROOM 2: 1 Queen sized bed, 1 Twin sized bed
LIVINGROOM: 1 Queen size bed (couch pullout - tempurpedic mattress)
