Hi, I'm Ossi — in my 50s, a proud mother of three, and someone who has always embraced the richness of different cultures and places. I was raised in South Africa and have lived across Europe and Asia with my family. Italy, however, holds a special place in my heart — I lived here for many years, and two out of my three children were born in Rome!

As someone who loves both being hosted and hosting, I understand the small touches that turn a good stay into a memorable one. At Relais Portaluna delle Langhe, my goal is to offer not just a beautiful setting, but a warm, thoughtful experience shaped by years of travel and cultural connection.

RELAIS PORTALUNA is perfect for large families or groups who want to be together yet enjoy their own privacy, as it offers three connected independent units; making it an ideal setting for shared holidays, reunions, or peaceful retreats with personal space. It's set for up to 18 people, with max. 12 adults.

Located 2 KM from Mango, a charming hilltop village in the heart of the LANGHE wine region, this area is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized globally for its centuries-old tradition of vine growing and wine-making. Surrounded by rolling vineyards, historic farmhouses, and panoramic beauty, it’s a place where time slows down and the good life begins.

Located Just 20 minutes from Alba, the vibrant capital of truffles and gourmet cuisine, our guests have easy access to diverse excellent restaurants (including Michelin-starred), local markets, and boutique shops. Even closer are the picturesque villages of Neive, Castagnole delle Lanze, and Santo Stefano Belbo (all 7–12 minutes away), offering cobbled streets, wine tastings, and rich cultural heritage.

The area enjoys a mild and pleasant climate — in summer and spring we mostly have sunny days, refreshing evenings, and golden vineyard views year-round.

It’s ideal for family holidays, friends reunions, cycling groups, wine & food lovers, wedded couples with family/friends, and anyone seeking a peaceful countryside escape with a luxurious touch.

Despite its calm setting, the area is very accessible, with five major airports nearby: Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Turin Caselle, Bergamo, and Genoa. It's also easily reachable by car from France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belguim, the UK, and the Nordic countries — making it an ideal destination for both short getaways and longer holidays.

Our amazing RELAIS PORTALUNA is a unique luxurious hillside retreat offering the perfect blend of authentic Italian charm and elegant comfort. With 450 sqm of beautifully restored living space and 2,000 sqm of private garden, this peaceful hideaway is ideal for families and groups who want to be together while still enjoying their own privacy.

The property features three independent yet connected units, offering flexible accommodation for up to 18 people (with max. 12 adults).

From April-November, RELAIS PORTALUNA is available only as a full private villa — offering exclusive use of the entire property, garden, and infinity pool.

From December-March, the three independent units — Maestà, Incanto, and Serena — can also be booked separately.

"Maestà"- up to 8 guests (max. 6 adults):
Located on the upper floor (stairs up from the entrance), Maestà welcomes you with a grand Piedmontese-style vaulted ceiling living room. The fully equipped kitchen adds a touch of modern Italian design, while the three stylishly furnished bedrooms offer comfort and rest. On the ground floor (piano terra), there is a fourth bedroom, more accessible and perfect for older guests. A beautifully designed bathroom is located upstairs, with additional toilet facilities downstairs.

"Incanto" - up to 6 guests (max. 4 adults):
Spread across two levels, Incanto combines spacious rooms with direct access to the garden. In the lower floor you'll find a spectacular Piedmontese-style living room ceiling, a modern kitchen and guest toilet. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and a sofa bed (for 2 children), one with a queen-size bed; as well as a refined cozy bathroom.

'Serena" - up to 4 guests (max. 2 adults):
Spread across two levels, in the first floor Serena features a charming living room and fully equipped kitchen. A round staircase leads up to a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a smaller room with a sofa bed, and a stylish bathroom.
