About this property

Exclusive 3600 hectares Wildlife & Nature Reserve with fully staffed 4* Lodge

At the end of the end of the track, hides one of Karoo's best kept secrets... a spectacular nature reserve with 3600 hectares of unspoiled environment set in a series of mountains, cliffs, high plateaux, with a river bed guarded by acacias trees. This is the territory of the elusive Greater Kudu, Cape Elands, Giraffes and the rare & endangered Cape Mountain Zebra. A week in Koedoeskop, Afrikaans' name for "Kudu's Hill" is an invitation to explore the fascinating South African wildlife on foot, biking, hiking & walking, guided by professional rangers who will unfold for you the book of Africa.
The Lodge is a beautifully restored 19th Century old farm-house with all amenities : fire-pace, air-conditioning, swimming-pool, kids playground, darts & board game area, library, etc... where the stories of the day get shared around the camp-fire under the stars of the mystic Karoo nights.
Fully staffed the whole year long with Head Ranger, Chef, Butler and House-maids, for an impeccable tailor-made service.
Whether you are craving for a week off the hectic city life, curious of discovering a truly authentic African bush experience, spending some quality time with your family and friends in a pristine environment, look to further as a few days in Kuduskop will leave you fully energised and relaxed.
Camping out to wake up with the sound of Kudus walking back from a water-hole, exploring the many caves dotted with ancient bushmen rock paintings, observing some of our 200 bird species, jogging with giraffes by your side, hike and hide to surprise the mountain zebras, up on the hills, these are some of the few experiences you will remember for a lifetime.
We are looking forward to hosting you in what we like to call 'home'.
