The Space
The studio sits on the second floor, surrounded by towering oaks and peaceful acreage. Inside, the open layout feels airy and bright, with high ceilings, natural light, and treetop views from nearly every angle. A Murphy bed folds down to create a cozy sleeping nook and tucks away during the day for more living space. The living area is styled with mid-century modern touches, including a lounge chair and ottoman perfect for curling up with a book or enjoying a quiet evening. French doors open to a private balcony, where you can sip coffee in the morning or watch the sunset filter through the trees.
The retro-inspired kitchenette features a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker, along with dishes, utensils, and basic condiments for simple meals. A dining table sits nearby, offering a spot to share breakfast before heading out to explore Austin or the Hill Country.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead, stocked with fresh towels and bath products. For longer stays, the studio is equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable year-round.
Outside, your private courtyard offers a picnic table, seating area, all lit by string lights for a warm evening atmosphere. Beyond the courtyard, 50 acres of open land are yours to explore - perfect for walking the dog, spotting deer, or simply enjoying the quiet of nature.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire second-floor studio and private balcony. The courtyard, which includes the picnic table, and seating area, is a shared space with the main house. You’re also welcome to explore the 50 acres of open land behind the property, perfect for a peaceful walk or letting your pet stretch its legs (leash recommended). Free on-site parking and a private entrance make coming and going simple and convenient.
