About the host
Hosted by Jodie abbatangelo
I'm a public health consultant living full time in NYC. I am new to the Berkshires and find it is the perfect balance to city dwelling. I'm into fitness, art, movies and good reads. Also good coffee (you will find both a Kerrig-- not so good-- and pour over accoutrements-- excellent-- at your disposal on the property).
Why they chose this property
The central location and peaceful beauty of the beauty of the property itself is why we love this place! The view from the porch is not only STUNNING (newly pruned old growth pines blended with newer growth Japanese maples) but also an abundant place from which to entertain/dine al fresco.
What makes this property unique
You will not find a more private property (dirt road shared with only one other home at the top of the hill) nor a more elegant vista that what this home offers. And the best part is that it's still within walking distance to some of Great Barrington's best venues (The Old Mill, The Barn (gourmet eatery and music venue). Also find within less than a mile Egremont's French park (has brand new tennis and pickle ball courts, outdoor workout equipment for adults and playground for kids), antique and quilting shops, etc. About a 7 minute drive to the uber excellent features of downtown Great Barrington too (just google it!!)
