We loved our stay at Brookdal Blue. From the minute we walked in to the TVs playing fall music to the kids getting to bath in a tub as big as a pool, it was all so comfortable. The owners were very responsive to any question we had and we really appreciated that. This was just a nice comfortable clean house. I’d come back!

Rented this Vrbo to host a birthday party. The host was easy to reach and seemed friendly. It was kind of them to have a balloon and banner for the occasion. The kitchen and the living room were reasonably clean but we did notice large amounts of dust and spiderwebs throughout the home. Particularly in the master bedroom and and the bathroom downstairs. We assumed perhaps it had been a while since a guest had rented the home, but the host said they themselves had hosted the week prior which did not seem accurate. Considering the cost of the cleaning fee it should have been cleaned more thoroughly. The sinks downstairs did not seem to be draining properly and towards the end we had issues flushing the bathroom upstairs (one of two toilets). The host said the “home is old” and directed us to find a plunger. Had my guests chosen to stay this would have been a larger inconvenience due to the lack of working restroom availability. Our stay left more to be desired but it was manageable for our short stay. This home surely needs some TLC in order be ready for more short term stays. It can be noted that some of the reviews seem to be from family/friends rather than drop in guests such as myself. Best wishes to the host and hopefully improvements can be made!
