My boyfriend and I recently stayed here during a trip to Florida. The location was great, which is the main reason we chose this rental.Unfortunately, once we arrived, the condition of the unit was very disappointing. The bathroom was dated and did not feel clean. The shower was extremely small, with dirty tile and old fixtures, and there was very little water pressure. There was also no hair dryer provided.The layout was especially uncomfortable — there is no door between the bathroom and the kitchen. You can literally see the toilet from the kitchen, which was awkward and not at all what we expected on a romantic getaway. While the furniture looked newer, the overall space did not feel clean or well maintained. On top of that, there was construction right outside. We were woken up at 8 a.m. by very loud construction noise. The doors also did not feel well sealed and didn’t give us much sense of security.Because of all of this, we checked out after the first night and booked a hotel for the remaining two nights (at almost double the cost). I messaged the owner right away to let them know we had left early and asked about a partial refund, but I never received a response. We paid for three nights and only stayed one.This could be a great place based on location alone, but the cleanliness, layout, noise, and lack of communication made it a very disappointing experience.
