This place was perfect! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Cleanliness is expected but this place went beyond my expectations with helpful friendly hosts, well equipped and organized kitchen and baths. The location was convenient to downtown, airport and many good restaurants. I highly recommend!

Upon arrival we were impressed with the unit. Location was perfect for us and there are many places within walking distance. The hosts were very responsive and kind. Our trip to Louisville was such a great time and staying here was definitely a highlight. We would gladly stay here again and enjoyed our time. Thank you Paulo

Paulo was an excellent host, providing lots of helpful communication before & after the stay. The Carriage House was a delight, from the modern kitchen & bathroom, to the roomy dining & living area, & the large comfy beds. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Communication was great from start to finish. The hosts were very friendly and available, but not at all intrusive. The place was clean and well stocked with dishes, cooking supplies, etc. Cabinets were labeled to make it easy to find whatever we needed. Everything was great. I don't know what else to say.

We had a wonderful stay at the Carriage House. It was very clean well labeled to make finding anything we needed easy to find. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The Host, Paulo, was very friendly and kept in touch to make sure our stay went well. The area was easily walkable with lots of shops and restaurants near by. We would love to come back. Definitely a 5 star stay all the way.

A perfect stay

We loved staying here and will definitely book again on a future visit. The carriage house was ideal in everyway, and very comfortable. Relaxing on the deck overlooking the beautiful garden was a highlight.

Carriage House Golf Trip

Property was better than the photos...multiple twin mattresses available for accommodating guests. Paulo was a fantastic host.Modern appliances with clear labels and instructions. Honestly, likely my best Vrbo experience yet! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Location and Experience

This VRBO is so well done! We had everything we needed, and we felt very safe and secure. (Always a huge concern when I travel with just my kids by myself.) We will definitely be back in the near future to stay at The Carriage House again. This place is a true gem!

Perfect getaway

The location was excellent, within walking distance of many options to eat and discover. It is nestled inside a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I felt quite safe there. The Internet was strong, it was clean and tidy inside, and the beds were super comfortable. There were laminated instructions for anything that you may need and it was very easy to contact the host. The amenities included what one might need for a long weekend. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfection

The Carriage House is very nice and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We came for a conference and hope to be back next year. If so, we will definitely be checking to see if the Carriage House is available for our stay. Paulo was an excellent host as well.

Great Accommodations, Great Host!

We felt welcomed, safe, and well cared for from the moment we walked through the gate. The Carriage House had everything we needed and more. It was exceptionally clean, well organized, and loaded with style. The neighborhood was stunning, and the courtyard was relaxing and inviting. We were particularly pleased with the convenient location. We were amazed by the close proximity the Carriage House had to restaurants, sightseeing, and the bourbon trail. We will definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect

My college friends and I had a great weekend and we loved the carriage house so much , we made time in our schedule to just hang out on the deck and enjoy the view of the beautiful back yard.

The carriage house was BEAUTIFUL! We stay recently under difficult circumstances for a family funeral and Chris made the stay effortless. The location was ideal and within walking distance of cute restaurants. The property itself was immaculate, modern and beautifully appointed. Ideal stay for small families.

Leading into our stay, Paulo was very communicative about the property details we needed upon arrival. The property is beautifully and actively maintained, and the courtyard is so peaceful. The carriage house itself was very clean and updated, with many convenient updates to make our stay pleasant. Dishes are more than well-stocked, and extra blankets were provided to really make the stay cozy. The neighborhood itself is lively with endless options for dining out, and a Kroger is a short drive to grab groceries as well! We absolutely loved our stay, and I would recommend this location to anyone headed to Louisville in the future!

Wonderful property, neighborhood and hosts!

The Carriage House is a clean, well maintained, well thought out and wonderfully furnished property. The deck overlooks a beautifully maintained courtyard area that is shared with the main house. The old trees and furnishings make it such a welcoming area to sit, relax and enjoy your coffee in the morning, or a beverage later in the evening. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay and have everything you need. You can walk to many local shops and restaurants, and yet is only a few miles from downtown Louisville or Churchhill Downs. Would highly recommend the property and neighborhood.
