Furnished for comfort with all the luxuries and amenities you want in a family vacation, enjoy Mammoth at our mountain inspired town home.

Comfy beds, pillows, linens, and flat screen TVs furnish bedrooms. No sagging mattresses; no squeaky box springs. With brand new heaters, digital thermostats, humidifiers and plenty of blankets, you'll feel extra cozy even on cold dry evenings. Feel the open space and natural beauty of the Sierras as each bedroom has the views of Mammoth -- trees and mountains -- not the neighbors or a parking lot like many rentals. There is even a brand new queen sleeping sofa that promises a good night's rest. Three updated spa like bathrooms offer plenty of privacy and a new extra large water heater ensures plenty of relaxing hot showers.

Enjoy relaxing under cedar cathedral ceilings on the spacious L-shaped living room sofa. Equipped with a state-of-the-art surround sound entertainment system, 1080p LCD flat screen with Cable, Amazon Firestick, Chromecast, and wireless streaming to the stereo. You can kick back and watch a movie, or enjoy music and a toasty fire. Feel free to enjoy our old-school board game or cruise the internet with our 1GB wireless (fastest in Mammoth).

The large dining room table seats 8 comfortably and there is a breakfast bar with stools for the quick breakfast or coffee. With a fully stocked newly remodeled kitchen (microwave, coffee maker, electric water kettle, toaster, utensils) you have all the equipment necessary to make a sandwich or cook a gourmet meal.

The balcony has reclining Adirondack chairs and a beautiful view of the Sherwin range. After a fun filled day outside, store all your gear in our private ski/fishing closet and then relax in the Jacuzzi or sauna mere steps away. In the summer, lounge poolside and have a refreshing swim.

There is a washer and dryer located within the townhouse that is welcome to all guests.

The Woodlands is centrally located to everything. The walk to town, supermarket, movies, and bowling alley is only 6 blocks away. The free red line ski/town shuttle stop is right across the street. Biking, walking paths, the Sierra Star golf course, a sledding hill for the kids, and open meadow for dogs or star gazing are all, literally, right outside the front door.

Quiet and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at the Kaus house! Comfortable beds, fantastic deck, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Was hoping for a better experience at the pool and hot tub. They both needed a cleaning and the drain around the deck of the pool was plugged with stagnant water around it. Luckily we had a great time swimming at Horseshoe Lake.

The perfect spot

Great Location!

This property is within walking distance to Restaurants and a 5 minute drive to Eagle Lodge, great location! The Woodlands are well maintained and quiet. The property itself is well appointed and all of the bathrooms have been recently updated with nice finishes. Everything in this condo worked perfectly and the instructions were on point. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

My family and I had a great time staying here. The place is very clean and cozy. There were some upgrades to the condo that stuck out compared to other condo’s in the Woodlands. The bathrooms and showers have been upgraded and they partitioned off the upstairs loft to make it more of a private space - both of which improved the overall experience. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Excellent family condo for winter vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the condo with both our sets of parents and our baby son. The place was well appointed, had everything we needed for cooking, and was spacious for lounging with the family. The beer growlers were a very nice touch. The host was very easy to communicate with. Would love to stay here again!

Teriffic Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

Our family of five adults and small dog had a terrific Thanksgiving weekend while staying at the Kraus townhouse. We enjoyed the luxury of having our own bedrooms and bathrooms and the open space in the main area - which was quite comfortable and inviting. The remodeled kitchen was a plus too. The complex is situated in a lovely wooded area and within easy walking distance to the town and park. Brad’s communication with us was immediate and precise. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

My wife and 3 children stay on the property. The property is clean, great space, nice furniture and decorations. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and stores. Mammoth Lakes visit

The property was very nice with a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining table & spacious living room. The condo was very quiet, especially at night. The unit had 3 full bathrooms and 2 king beds in the bedrooms that were very comfortable. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room, but we did not use it. The Woodlands is centrally located and near lots of shopping and an easy walk to the stores and restaurants on Old Mammoth Road. Very friendly host with great communications prior to and during our stay. Thanks Brad, for a great family stay in Mammoth Lakes!

Perfect Mammoth Getaway

We had a great time at the Kraus House. The townhome is very comfy and spacious. It is located in the woods adjacent to the Sierra Star Golf Course. It is a very scenic and well maintained complex. The actual Kraus House had everything we needed. It's located in the heart of Mammoth, close to the Vons and just down the street from the Village. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes. The location makes it easy to get to the lakes for fishing or the Main lodge for downhill mountain biking. My family loved it. I can't find one thing to complain about.

I have notified 3 minor issues to the mansgement team. These 3 items did not affect our stay. The extra space with a desk was an excellent bonus. My spouse stopped skiing. She had zoom meetings and it was an excellent space. My daughter also used it for her job.

Spacious, great location

Spacious condo with remodeled bathrooms in good location. A couple of issues if visiting in the winter... its quite cold in the condo because the heaters cannot warm it up (there is a restriction on the temperature you can set the heater to). One of the toilets is leaking so quite noisy at night. Also, communication with the owner was lacking. I messaged a couple of times re extra blankets and sheets but did not hear back. When i texted about the leaking toilet though the owner did respond relatively quickly to say it can't be fixed during our stay.

Spacious and Pleasant Atmosphere

We felt at home in this condo and liked the layout better than a similar condo in the same complex. Combination on the front door was very convenient and was nice not to depend on keeping track of a key. Dining room table is huge, larger than we needed for 4 people but would be great if had more people. Initially large TV in living room had no picture, but Brad was very helpful on the phone tracking down the cause (a loose cable probably due to housekeeping cleaning a bit too well) and the problem was promptly fixed. Minor problem: shower sliding door in bathroom on main floor was difficult to open/close but didn't affect us much.The only significant issue was that two of our party felt the beds were too soft and did not provide adequate support, although obviously that is a very individual preference.

Why they chose this property

Having spent many years in Mammoth, we decided to buy and remodel our townhouse last year because we couldn't resist the ideal location and spacious layout. Views, cathedral loft ceilings, and 3 bedroom/3 bath allows lots of room and total privacy for the whole family. The Woodlands complex, in our opinion, is one of the best Mammoth has to offer. Beautiful landscaping with lots of trees and flowers, pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. It has it all.
