Paki Maui is a five-story oceanfront resort located on the West side of Maui between Ka'anapali and Kapalua areas. Paki Maui is in the neighborhood of Honokowai with shopping, restaurants, and beach rentals across the street. Within a short drive check out Whaler's Village Shopping Center where you can enjoy many dining options and entertainment. There are golf courses and putting greens available in Kaanapali and Kapalua.

Fantastic

The room was nice! Clean and comfortable! We had a beautiful garden view- so peaceful! Only 1 thing I would change- the living room ceiling fan barely moves so it doesn’t offer much airflow! Wasn’t a big deal. Great place! Would stay there again for sure!

West maui location

Location is fantastic with many places to walk to for food and shopping. Snorkel right outside the door. Turtles, fish and Whales . The unit itself could have been a little cleaner as the rug is very dirty, as is the sofa, but it is rented out, so many people pass through it I am sure. And basically little time is spent in the unit itself. We have stayed at this complex 4 times and each unit gives you something different so just take a good look around for the unit that suits you best.

It was hot in the unit

I was dissapionted i'm 64 years old . I rented a Place in MAUI. And when we arrived it was so hot in the unit. YOU SHOULD LIST THERE IS NO AIRCONDITION in the UNIT, IN THE DESCRITION OF the property had i known that I wound't have booked the room. I WILL MAKE SURE I NEVER BOOK AGAIN WITH VACASA. ONCE YOU TOOK MY MONEY YOU DIDN"T CARE

Our local manager noted that they would have been happy to assist you find a location with A/C had they known how important it was to you. For your next vacation please search for the amenities that are important to you and be sure to reach out for help if something isn't quite right. This property, though warm when you arrived, has an incredible cross breeze and multiple upright and ceiling fans to help keep you cool. This property has a covered area by the pool with an ocean view. A perfect way to stay cool, and enjoy the Maui weather, and the incredible location at Paki Maui. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.

Great response from managing company but a disappointing condo

No plug for the kitchen sink so you couldn't wash a dish properly. Ran out of shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Minimal amount of cutlery (Only mismatched tablespoons and no teaspoons). Pots and pans were minimal. Fridge/freezer would make a loud grinding sound that would wake you up. Furniture is dated and uncomfortable. Sliding bathroom door needs replacing. Whole place needs a refresh. Carpets were disgusting. (They did come and shampoo them but they need replacing) Needs better lighting. TV is small and should be hung on the wall.

Not sure if I’ll rent this again

Fridge door handles were dirty took Clorox wipes had to rub off dirt that was absorbed into fridge doors. Carpets were poorly vacuumed, there was dust on popcorn ceiling in bedroom accumulated and didn’t look like were cleaned in a while. Also when I did laundry washer didn’t spin my clothes it was soaking wet, tried drying the clothes and it didn’t work, had to squish all my shorts and shirts out by hand one by one, and then hang everything around the unit and direct fans so I can have clean and dry clothes the next day. Also had a roach in the bathtub one night that I had to unalive and dispose of. Bathtub plumbing is reversed when you turn hot water on it runs cold, if you use that shower turn on cold to get hot water. Kitchen cabinets are alot higher from standard and most likely not to code. Fridge would often make weird loud noise I’m guessing the coolant pump or motor is too old and giving out. Pool wasn’t as expected and no access to beach, stairs to ocean are rotted out and a lot of sink holes in the grass.Pictures and description Is deceptive, would not rent the unit again.

They assured us that the carpets have been professionally deep-cleaned and the housekeeping team addressed. There are community washers available and had a concern been called in, it would have been reported to the appropriate parties. We're sorry for any inconvenience. Our home receives regular pest control, but due to the tropical environment, occasionally an uninvited critter slips in and we regret any issue you experience.
