Exactly what we were looking for to spend a week”up north”! The cabin was clean and well maintained. The lake is calm and peaceful. So close to Minocqua and things to do. Everything was easy to operate and use! Loved our time here!

We had a great stay in Minocqua. The automated check-in information never arrived, so I had to communicate directly with the owner. She was AWESOME! She apologized for whatever happened to the automated info that I should've received. She also got me all of the missing information very quickly. The house was perfect for two couples. The Minocqua area never disappoints. Don't hesitate to book this one!

We had a great stay!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Fishing was great, and we enjoyed using the paddle pontoon boat. Short drive to shopping and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Liked: Location
Upon arrival, the cottage was very clean and smelled pleasant. We felt pretty confident that it is cleaned well between renters. It was more contemporary than the last cottage we rented, which was nice and the price point reflected it. The colors were bright. It’s a good location, close to everything. Some nicer seating outside would be great. There were two lawn chairs folded up in the storage area outside with the firewood that had definitely seen their better days. Generally, we like to have a couple of nice chairs we can carry out to the dock and sit and relax. The paddle boat and Jon boat need some attention. My son took the paddle boat out and got stuck when the rudder stick came off and couldn’t steer. Someone had tried to rig it together with tape. I should have looked it over better before he took off with it because I ended up having to go out on the jon boat to bring him back bc he couldn’t steer it. The jon boat was leaking from someplace too. The kitchen faucet has a reverse osmosis filtration system, which was great. Unfortunately, there’s a noticeable sulphur odor in the other water spigots when you’re showering and/or brushing teeth or doing dishes. Overall, an enjoyable weekend! For the price point, I think it could be better as it pertains to the water and outdoor seating and laundry (no washer/dryer). I’d recommend bringing some outdoor chairs and bedding of your choice, if able. The bedding was too warm (for us) and kept popping off the mattress.

Cute Cabin in great location

We took our first trip with our newborn and 5 year old son to this cabin. It was excellent! The location was close to everything we wanted and still so quiet and private. The cabin had plenty of space and was very clean. We even left a stuffed animal behind and the mailed him to us right away! Loved the experience.

Beautiful Home on a Nice Lake

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The cabin is beautiful, well equipped, clean, and the views of the lake are amazing. Nice 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, plenty of parking, and right on the water. It's close enough to town for a city visit and for supplies, but still had a feeling of being out in the woods away from it all. We visited in October so it was too cold to enjoy boating or swimming but a summer trip would be great. We did have some nice campfires watching the deer in the woods who came up to us right by the cabin, loons and ducks on the lake, and the stars above. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We had to shuffle out arrival and departure dates and they worked with us. Everything about the visit was great. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Northwoods Getaway

We had a comfortable and relaxing week-long stay at this cabin! It was very clean, well-equipped and cared-for, and a great location: it was a drive of only a minute or two into Minocqua and Woodruff for those times when we needed retail therapy, yet it felt MILES away from civilization when we were fishing off the dock or staring out the beautiful lakeside wall of windows! Lots of recent renovations have obviously taken place throughout the cabin, and we especially appreciated the great master bedroom and bathroom updates! Hopefully the mattress in the smaller bedroom will be replaced soon - the couple staying in that room said that they spent the night rolling towards the center of the bed. We enjoyed watching all the neighborhood wildlife around the cabin: multiple deer families, loon family, turtle and fox. There are TONS of fun things to do in this area for all ages and interests - so glad we had a whole week to enjoy it all!

Great up north experience!

We enjoyed the wonderful accommodations and the beautiful setting on the small lake. We liked going out in the paddle boat. It was nice watching the loons and deer. We brought our bikes and were close to the bike trails in the area...even got some shopping in. Overall wonderful vacation time!

Relaxation with a great view

Very well kept property with great improvements in progress. Location is excellent for activities around the area. Lake is very quiet, being a non motorized lake. Paddle, pontoon boat provided was great for fishing or an evening cruise around the lake. Fishing was decent as we caught largemouth bass, bluegills and a small northern. Overall no complaints and a big thumbs up.

Great family getaway

We had a great time staying here and so glad we did. The view is great, right on the lake. The house was a great size, had everything we needed, and the kids loved it. It was so nice to have a fire pit, Lake access to fish, and the little pontoon paddle boat. Close enough to town to run for groceries or go to the shops, but quiet enough that we could enjoy the stay. Will definitely be staying again!

Exactly what we needed!

This place was exactly what we needed. Beautiful views of the lake from the master bedroom and front room, amazing backyard, quiet, peaceful lake that we spent hours on each day. Surrounded by nature and had many encounters with the deer family in the woods and the duck family on the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax and rejuvenate!

This property was going through a remodel at the time of our stay. Host did let us know that a few days prior. Missed the screened porch that was pictured in ads. Overall though this place is great! We had ample fishing, and the lake to ourselves as we stayed during the week. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your cabin.

Relaxing week on quiet lake

Quiet lake cabin close to everything. Enjoyed fishing off the dock and paddle boat. The swim pier and camp fire area were great. Launched our ski boat several times at School House Bay boat landing with ample trailer parking on Minacqua Lake. The cabin had everything we needed and was clean inside. The patio door and screen doors could use some work.
