Welcome to Villa Verde, a spacious Baja retreat perfect for families and larger groups who want the best of both worlds- room to come together and private spaces to relax. With two houses that comprise of 3 separate stand alone units, there's room for everyone! The main house first floor is comprised of two queen bedrooms, each with ensuite full bathrooms, a living room and large kitchen to gather. Upstairs is a separate apartment with two bedrooms, one full bath connected to both rooms (great for families with kids), and a separate kitchen and living room. The Casita is a stand alone one bed/one bath home with large kitchen and living room. The courtyard pool & hot tub connects the spaces. Located within walking distance of the Sea of Cortez, you can start your mornings with a beach sunrise, see turtles hatching, & head to Dodo's for lunch. Back at the Villa, enjoy mountain-view sunsets and Baja’s star-filled skies from the rooftop deck. With a private pool & hot tub, Villa Verde makes every stay unforgettable.

I first vacationed in Los Barriles in 2005 with my sister, who got married there in 2011. After revisiting the area in 2021 I decided to take the plunge and buy a vacation home. After 4 wonderful years in that home, I realized I needed a bigger space to accommodate my family when we gathered in LB for Christmas, so in August of 2025 I purchased Villa Verde.
Why they chose this property
I love the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Los Barriles because it is close to Playa Norte, Dodos Beach Bar, Tres Palapas, the Turtle Release, and now the Last Resort, another fabulous restaurant! It's convenient to so many amazing attractions.
What makes this property unique
I loved how the home backs into the mountain, offering privacy and a beautiful view of both sunrises and sunsets! I added the heated pool and hot tub because I have a 6 year old who is scared to swim in the Sea of Cortez if it's too wavy. This way we have the best of both worlds, and don't have to try and sneak into the resort pools in town!
