Property condition almost ruined our vacation
Let me start by saying that the actual property and premises were excellent. Great price. Great central location. Well deserving of 4 stars. There were a couple of problems with the property condition that warranted the low rating. First, the AC had problems and it kept going out the entire time we were there. The bigger problem was that someone must have had a pet there before us. You could smell the smell of animal in the place. Also, there were fleas or something that ate us alive. We got foggers from Wal-Mart but the biting was a constant problem. I also didn't like being informed of a parking deposit less than 48 hours before our arrival.

Fairly good
I had the whole house to myself for a very reasonable price. The host was responsive and the house was clean when we came. The only concern that I have was the AC. It was soooooo bad until the next day. It was not working even after somebody came to fix it. It was soooo hot and the people with me did not like it very much. Please fix that for future references. Thanks.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. Lots of room.
Found the townhouse clean and roomy. The neighborhood is quiet and close to enough to where we needed to go. Cons: It did smell of moth balls. Couldn’t find the washing machine so I called the host who informed me that the washing machine was locked up because it was broken. He did offer to take my clothes to the laundromat and wash and dry them and bring them back. I told him I would take care of it myself. The couches were very uncomfortable. Kitchen lacked necessary items like a can opener, measuring cups. The TV only had Netflix etc. Still, I would recommend this property as a place to stay if visiting Washington DC.

Nice
The house was nice and liked all the space, we were very pleased with the layout and the cleanliness of the home but it was extremely warm when we arrived and we could not control the temperature. The host did turn the air down and the house was ok when we returned late Friday night it had cooled down to a comfortable temperature but when we woke up it was too warm again. We had 2 vehicles towed and had to pay $140.00 each to recover them which was a total of $280.00 extra my husband and I had to pay out of our pockets. We were told we could get reimbursed for the towing but I have been back home now 4 days and have not heard anything from the host or the owner. I enjoyed the stay with the exception of those things. The host Tawfik was super friendly and liked the fact that he returned my calls and texts in a timely manner. A few bad experiences but still enjoyed our trip inspite of.
