Come stay at our home on Smith Lake. Check out the current photos of our completely remodeled home with all the modern interior amenities. This lakefront home sleeps up to 8 people, in four bedrooms, and has a sleeping nook with two comfortable single beds.

-Jump off the second level of the dock into the 50’ year-round deep water

-Fish from the dock or along our 200’ of shoreline

-Launch your boat at the public boat launch only minutes away
-Refuel your boat at Triple Creek Marina less than 5 minutes away
-Sit outside and stargaze since you are away from the city lights
-Relax on the Adirondack chairs or chaise lounges on the upper deck of the dock

-Gas grill for outdoor cooking is hooked up to our large propane tank so no need to worry about running out of propane.
-Shock IQ installed on our dock. It monitors the dock frame and water for stray electricity.

Note: Cell service is good for AT&T and poor with Verizon. Our wi-fi internet provides email connectivity even if cell coverage is not good. Also, many cell providers provide calling over wi-fi. Check with your carrier.

We have two exterior security cameras. One covers the driveway and the other covers the dock from a distance.

Excellent, clean, fun, accommodating, and all other superlatives. This house and dock were terrific for all of us to enjoy. Those in our 60s and those who are just nine all immensely enjoyed this stay. The owners are very responsive, the house is clean, the kitchen is well stocked, the fans upstairs are a charming touch and the overall feel is homey.

Amazing stay

Been wanting to stay here for a few years now and finally got a reservation that worked for us. The pictures of the place don’t do justice and was an amazing stay. We will be coming back!

Great Place

The property was as described and very clean. I would definitely stay again. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add some wall decor to give it a little more homey feeling, but either way, we will likely go back!

Great Lake House

Perfect location for an outdoor fishing/swimming getaway. Unfortunately it rained the majority of our stay. The house had plenty of room for our group to hang out together indoors as well!

Family Trip

My family stayed for spring break and had a great time. The house is just as described and communication with the owners was excellent. They responded to all my questions and even worked with my husband to find a place to launch our boat and store the trailer. Our kids ranged in ages from 8 to 19 and they all loved it. We played on the rocks, kayaked, and enjoyed the 2-story dock each day. We enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to return next year!

Beautiful view, great dock

Clean house with plenty of sleeping options. Nice porch overlooking the water. Our favorite place to hang out was on the double decker dock. Loved having use of kayaks. Convenient to Arley for groceries. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing house on amazing part of the lake!

This house is a perfect location with spectacular views of Smith Lake! We so enjoyed the back porch for the sunset views and sitting at the table for sunrise for breakfast. This house was spotless inside and out! We spent so much time on the beautiful 2 story dock watching boats go by and can’t wait to stay here again! 5 stars!

Wonderful Extended Weekend

The property is wonderful! We had 5 adults, but this place could easily have accommodated a few more. It was a little cool and breezy (thank you, March!), but we had a blast. Local food & grocery much better than expected. The lake view, comfortable beds, roomy bedrooms, dependable wi-fi, great value for the cost..not sure what else to add. We'll be back!

Quiet Weekend Away.

This was a great rental home. We wanted a weekend away from the real world and to just hangout as a family. It was perfect. Great two story boat dock and porch. We spent most of the time sitting on the porch watching the water. We really like this home for its clean, new fresh look with highend finishes. No old lake smell! Great rental!

Something for everyone

This was the perfect house for our 4th of July weekend. Everyone had plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The porch has a beautiful view. The pier is spacious and not too rough even on this busy weekend. The lot has something for everyone. Shallow rocks for the dog and kids to easily walk out on to wade and swim. A low rock cliff for jumping that ages enjoyed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The only suggestion is to bring Tupperware or some kind of storage option for leftovers. Everything we needed was in close distance- a very convenient marina across the lake. Diana was friendly and very easy to work with. I will definitely rent again.

The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 7 plus pups. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and sunsets from the dock at night. We rented a pontoon for 3 days to explore the lake and were blown away by how gorgeous it was, we will definitely be back!

Labor Day Weekend Lake Trip - long weekend at the lake at one of our favorite properties! This house is always clean, nicely appointed, and owners are awesome. Perfect location for a fishing trip.

We stayed here in March during my son’s school break. The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook with. I even told my husband that I think it’s the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at. The lake level was lower, but we expected that since it’s winter/spring. It still has very deep water around the dock and my son was able to fish off of the dock and the shore. It’s a very nice dock and I liked to sit on the upper deck. There were not very many people on the lake while we were there (early March), but I could see how the lake would be bustling with boats once the weather gets warmer. Check-in was easy, communication was good and instructions for checking out of the house were easy as well.

Family Thanksgiving

We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and dock a lot. Luckily I am a planner and brought everything under the sun because there were not a lot of extra supplies (such as dishwasher pods & tp) and there were no seasonings you could use. Some places have at least some basics but this did not. We have stayed at many places and I just bring whatever I think I will need. The Publix in Cullman does deliver which surprised me. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. The setting was beautiful and quiet.

Amazing!

This was our first trip to Smith Lake. Our stay was amazing. All of my family met here to celebrate our Thanksgiving. I can’t say enough about the views and quiet relaxing time we had. This stay met ALL our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Birthday weekend

Very nice house and beautiful location. Loved the dock and spent a lot of time there enjoying the great weather. Dock was perfect size for securing and storing my boat. Owner should fix hand rail on deck as it was very wobbly. In addition the bbq grill was covered in grease and caught our burgers on fire the first night. Had to breakdown the grill and clean to use the second night.

We are active at Moulton Baptist Church and can be found on Facebook if you are really bored and want to see photos and things. This is the second home that we have owned on Smith Lake and we totally love our time there. We use the rentals to help make the payments and use the home in between. We invite you to share our getaway at the lake.

Why they chose this property

This property is a great choice for two main reasons. First, it is located on a point lot with a view that can't be beat and second, the house is totally remodeled after being stripped down to the studs and rebuilt. Everything, and I mean everything, is new. We bought the property for the lot and then made the house what we wanted it to be with all the modern conveniences like wi-fi, satellite TV and surround sound. Plus, you'll love the short walk from the deck to the dock!

What makes this property unique

Quiet location with unmatched view, but only minutes away from some great restaurants. Grocery store is only 10 minutes. In 45 minutes you can be in Cullman for more shopping choices, theaters, etc.
