This newly renovated upstairs one-bedroom apartment, furnished in an uncluttered minimalist style and is a great space for 2. The open-plan lounge and kitchenette enjoys sunlight throughout the day. The original fireplace and face brick peak out from the white plastered walls. The kitchenette is designed for the easy-going cook. The cabinet is equipped with a kettle, small sink, two plate induction stove, a microwave and all the necessary cutlery and crockery. No expense has been spared on your linen, rest your head on superb 200 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding. The shower is open-plan in the bedroom, and the toilet and basin are tucked away in their own space.
Guests have access to the whole apartment. You do share an entrance with another apartment downstairs. If needing more space for a family, both units can be booked together.
The apartment is nestled in the vibrant suburb of Woodstock, on Albert Road in Cape Town. A family-owned antique shop runs below you, an art store come coffee shop is your neighbour. Go shopping for bespoke furniture, gander at the art on show in the galleries, look at the carpenters at work on the street, or enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at the various restaurants around. Come experience all Woodstock has to offer in this little lock up and go apartment. Woodstock is an edgy, evolving neighborhood where hipster cafes, veggie eateries and galleries occupy old factories covered with vivid murals. The renovated Old Biscuit Mill is home to cool design stores and hosts the weekly Neighbourgoods Market, with street food stalls, African crafts and designer fashion. On nearby streets, quirky stores sell vintage fashion, upcycled furniture and antiques. (URL HIDDEN)
Uber is the easiest way to get around if you don't have a car. MyCiti bus is also a great way to get around during the day. Take the MyCiti bus route 261 to get off at the Old Biscuit Mill just 100m away from your apartment.
The apartment is located upstairs, so guests will need to climb a set of stairs. Please note that although Woodstock is extremely vibrant and full of people during the day, Woodstock tends to be quieter at night time. Please be alert and aware of your surroundings at night time when coming home.
