This home is 2 miles from highway 64 in Waynesboro, VA in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. It is a 2900 sq. ft. 4 bedroom 3 full bath ranch on 13 acres, sleeps 8-10 and was completely remodeled in 2018.

It is centrally located, only 30 minutes from Wintergreen resort, Charlottesville/ University of Virginia, Harrisonburg/James Madison University and Lexington and 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge parkway. Several wineries/breweries are minutes away.

There is high-speed wifi, so you can stay connected while you are here. The kitchen is fully-equipped to prepare a meal or you can enjoy one of the area restaurants within minutes of the house.

This four bedroom home is perfect for groups needing a little more room. Two bedrooms have king beds and the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. There is a day bed with two twin mattress and a queen air mattress when requested as well.

Behind the house is a patio with a wonderful view of the property and the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the Fall the colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley are amazing. There is a 550 sq ft game/conference room with a High Def TV, mini bar, sink and small refrigerator.

-Organic shampoo/body wash and conditioner is provided.
-We feed the fish in the pond every other day Spring-Fall and would love to have you help us when visiting. Stocked, catch and release fishing pond for kids only to fish with adult supervision

Fantastic Home in Stuarts Draft

A beautifully remodeled home all on one level with a spacious open feel. The property had wonderful views and the home had everything we needed for our stay. Our host Barb was very communicative and helpful and my in-laws absolutely loved the stay. Will definately stay here again. It was a bargain.

Beautiful Ranch Home in great location

We have stayed in VRBO's 4-5 times a year for many years. This is one of the cleanest and most comfortable homes we have found. The owners are really friendly, responsive and great hosts--they even made us a gourmet dinner one night! It is also very convenient to Shenandoah N.P., the Blue Ridge Parkway, Staunton, Charlottesville, and other Blue Ridge/Shenandoah Valley locations. You can't go wrong with this property--we'd give it 6-stars if we could.

Fall Football Fun

We had an amazing visit at this beautiful home. Great space, wonderful views and close to everything we needed. Staunton is a fun town super close by and Harrisonburg always delights as well. The space was perfect. So perfect for our group - we had four working while the rest were relaxing and everyone had plenty of space. Beds were super comfortable and hosts were amazing! The hosts were gracious, kind and there if you needed them without being intrusive. Thank you for a much needed and fully enjoyable family weekend!!

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. The owners of this home allowed us to have our very small wedding and it was perfect. The size of the house is great. We were able to stay separate while both of us were getting ready for our big day. There was plenty of room for the less than 20 people that were invited. No one was on top of each other. The backyard was perfect, it’s overlooking the pond and the mountains. The property owners were very kind and gave us our privacy but were right there if we needed anything. We will definitely be staying here again for future anniversaries.

This house is the best for our group, large open space with plenty of seating for chatting, board games, movie watching and cooking. Also, the listing didn't show how WONDERFUL the patio (with a firepit) and view are. We played volleyball, cooked, drank wine and reconnected. So good!

Perfect bachelorette weekend at Beverley Manor!

I rented this house for a bachelorette weekend for my sister. There were five of us total and the property was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and the house looked exactly like the pictures online. The check in process was seamless and there was plenty of parking for us. We cooked a few special dinners and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The backyard space was absolutely beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the volleyball set up. Barb was so responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed all weekend. I will be recommending this VRBO to ALL of my family and friends and plan to rent it again soon!! Slice of Perfection

Perfect property for anyone looking to explore the area and also spend time with family or friends! House is so beautiful and well appointed, no bad rooms. We explored Natural Bridge State Park about an hour away and several area breweries. Both NPS parkway entrances (Shenandoah and Blue Ridge) are within a few minutes of the house. Owner Barb was attentive and delightful. Only wish we could have stayed longer and met in person. Hope to be back soon. Perfect weekend getaway from DC.

This home is a lovely property immaculately updated by Barb and John. It is spacious, with expansive views, and very hospitable and warm owners. There are a number of thoughtful details and amenities such as complimentary coffee, creamers, hot chocolates, snacks, organic toiletries, among other thoughtful touches. We spent the weekend in this beautiful home celebrating a friends 50th birthday. The home is recently remodeled and had everything we needed. It is very spacious with gorgeous views. A LITTLE ABOUT JOHN AND BARB
We moved into the Cape Cod style home you can see from the back windows in 1999.
In 2020 we sold that home and moved into this Airbnb while we build our new home next door (other side of the barn). We moved there in Oct. 2022. We have a grown daughter, son-in-law, and grand-daughter who live in Johnson City, Tennessee. We owned and ran the Ace Hardware in Stuarts Draft for 18 years and retired from it in 2014. Currently we manage this property, along with one other. We are also co-owners of an organic body care company called La sunflower. If you enjoyed the shampoo/body wash and other body care products we provided for you for your stay and would like to shop our in-home store, just let us know. Why they chose this property

A LITTLE ABOUT THIS PLACE
This home was built in 1974 by John and Marilyn Swett, who had four boys. John and Marilyn, (and now their middle son John Jr. and his wife Barb), have been the only owners of this home for 40 plus years. When the land was purchased, it was a field of thistles. All the trees you see were hand planted by John Sr., and the pond also came about from the labor of John and his sons. Over the years, there have been many cherished Swett family gatherings on this property. All of the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids of John and Marilyn have wonderful memories of fishing, riding the tractor, working with Dad / Grandpa on projects and being spoiled by Marilyn including eating her wonderful cooking. The two homes you see from the back patio sit on the property originally owned by John and Marilyn. After John and Marilyn passed, John Junior and his wife Barb, wanted to keep control of the home and still use it for family gatherings like we have for the last 40 years. We did a complete remodel and finished in the spring of 2018. John and Marilyn would be thrilled to know that the home they love so much is still being used by the family and shared with others from around the world!

What makes this property unique

A LITTLE ABOUT THIS AREA
Although our address is Waynesboro, we consider ourselves part of Stuarts Draft. If you head left out of the driveway and go to the end of Augusta Farms Road, turn right, Stuarts Draft is straight ahead. For quicker needs this is the place to go. There is a Food Lion grocery store, Walgreens, Ace Hardware and several small restaurants. If you'd like a more upscale grocery store we recommend Martin's in Waynesboro.
In the summer Shenandoah acres is a great place to take the kids. It has a man made beach and swimming area.
Sherando Lake is fairly close and part of George Washington and Jefferson National Forest.
The Cheese Shop is pretty famous around here and very close to the house.
Frontier culture Museum is only about 10 minutes down the road and very interesting/educational.
Barren Ridge Winery has a pretty view and is the closest winery to this location, but there are many more within 15-20 minutes in the Afton area.
Wintergreen Resort is 20 minutes away
The brewery voted best in Virginia is Blue Mountain Brewery, about 15 minutes from here, gorgeous views and great food. Our favorite place to get wonderful Reubans and amazing pizza.
Feel like ice cream? Take a left out of the driveway and go 1.4 miles, right past the school is a small Shopping Center. Dap’s Ice Cream and Burgers carries Hershey ice cream, burgers and butter parmesan fries!
