We loved our stay on the river! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. Their home is beautiful and had everything we needed. The best part for us was the location - we were able to hike/bike many local mountains, while also being close enough to enjoy the beautiful wineries and restaurants in Helen, Cornelia, Cleveland, and Clarksvillle. I hope we can visit again soon!

We did NOT get to stay at this property. When we arrived another family was already in the house!! The owner rented to someone else after we made our reservation. It was 5pm and I was in their driveway, on the phone desperately searching online for a hotel to stay in so we wouldn’t have to sleep in our car, while my husband was on phone with the owner who said she never checked her VRBO account and rented it to someone else through another site. We had to throw away the groceries we bought for our stay because we had no way to refrigerate in the roadside hotel we finally found (at jacked up rates because it was last minute during busy fall weekend). It was a super stressful situation on not having a place to sleep! I would NOT recommend this property and Host at all. BEWARE you may just end up sleeping in your car.
