Welcome to Bear Necessities, a spacious Gatlinburg vacation rental cabin with breathtaking views. This five-bedroom retreat offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Step inside to discover a spacious main level with wood floors and an open layout that's perfect for relaxing. The large windows throughout the home showcase the stunning view, creating a truly picturesque setting.

The living room is a delightful gathering space, complete with an electric fireplace and a large TV for your entertainment. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped and provides ample workspace for preparing delicious meals (just bring your groceries). Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find a convenient laundry room. Additionally, the main level offers a lovely queen bedroom featuring its own TV and an ensuite bathroom that connects to the family room. Step outside onto the main level deck, where you'll find a gas grill and a spacious hot tub. Take a dip and soak in the incredible views – it's pure bliss.

Upstairs, you'll discover a cozy gathering spot on the landing with a comfy sofa for lounging, along with three comfortable bedrooms. One of the bedrooms boasts a king bed, a TV, a private ensuite bath, and access to a private deck. The other two bedrooms feature queen beds, and each have a TV. They share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with separate sinks and a shared toilet and shower area.

The bottom floor is home to the fifth bedroom, which offers a queen bed, TV, and access to a lower deck. This bedroom also has an ensuite bath that connects to the game room. In the game room, you'll find a foosball table and a pool table, providing endless fun for kids and those young at heart. Step outside onto the covered lower level deck, where you can enjoy the fresh air regardless of the weather.

Guests of this Gatlinburg chalet rental have access to three clubhouses, the closest to Bear Necessities being the North Clubhouse, which has three swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, a paved walking trail, ping pong, foosball, and assorted yard games.

Great location but dated property and furniture

Location is great with Gatlinburg downtown just down the slope but takes about 15-20 mins to drive down. Quite neighborhood with a lot of construction going on after the wildfires The furniture was dated in the house with squeaky mattresses to broken chair on the patio We had an issue with a jack and Jill bathroom door not closing on either side . Contacted the property management company the first day, no one turned up till the next day and then also they were not able to fix it after multiple visits. So we had to use other bathrooms which was a big hassle Contacted the owner and the only response I got was “sorry that it was not fixed” and nothing else I am sure you can find better properties at that high price (given it was Labor Day weekend) Overall good experience but not so impressed by the owner

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Saw lots of bears from the cabin. Cabin was perfect size for our group on 10. Would love to visit again and would highly recommend.

great view of the mountains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house was great for the Kelly Clan. Plenty of bear sighting from our location. The staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet area even with new construction in this area.
