3 Bedroom / 2 Bath home. Raised ranch with large back deck to hang. Conveniently located in the relaxing & beautiful Catskills Mountains. Calming mountain views with 2 acres to hang and relax. Gas grill, washer/dryer & dishwasher, Fireplace in the living room & fire pit in the yard. Open kitchen and large dining table for entertaining and hanging with family and friends. Wifi and Cable on 2 of the TVs, other TVs are smart TVs. Note: 2nd bathroom is located downstairs, off of a semi-finished room in the basement. Less than 1 mile to a beautiful spring fed lake. Less than 10 Minutes drive to Hunter Mountain, 15 minute drive to Windham. Less than 5 minutes to Tannersville w/ great restaurants & shops. 1.5 Miles to Colgate Lake & less than 10 minutes to Katterskill Falls, which is a beautiful hike up the mountain along the falls. 5 Minutes to the Mountain Top Arboretum. 5 Minutes to Deer Mountain Inn, a fabulous unique bar & restaurant. 35 Minutes to Town of Woodstock. Belleayre and Plattekill are 40 minutes away, but worth the drive! Greene & Delaware County have lots to offer year round! We had a great stay at Hunter! The house is so cozy and has everything you need - pots/pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, towels/linens/blankets - even shampoo and conditioner! It was an easy drive to Hunter (definitely recommend parking in the North Lot if you have your own gear), and then played in the snow in the yard with the kids and the dog after skiing. Angela was so responsive to my questions and a fantastic host. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

A welcoming house with fireplace

We rented this house twice this winter so we could "Ski NY" during the pandemic. The house is easily accessible to Hunter Mountain- can get there in <15 minutes. The house is, for the most part, on one level. You do enter through the unfinished basement with a steep set of stairs. The front door is likely accessible in the summer months.

Very cozy home

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is cozy, with brand new pots and pans, sharp knives, and everything we needed for cooking. The deck outside is great for bird watching or looking at the stars at night. The WiFi was fast and reliable as well. We would recommend it.

perfect ski weekend

This home was perfect for our family ski weekend. The home was so cozy , warm and inviting we really didn't want to leave! It had more than plenty of space for our family of four. The location is great if you want to ski both Hunter and Windam which is what we did. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware if you wanted to stay in a cook and they all looked practically new. Angela was easily available anytime we had a question. It was also such a nice gesture that there was a bottle of red wine and a doggy treat for my pup! This was our first time renting a home that was pet friendly . We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the home, there were absolutely no evidence of any dog hair or dog smell from any previous guests. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a good location. The house has lots of homey touches. The owners left dog treats and wine. I would say that only one bath on the main floor for 3 bedrooms is not enough. The bathroom downstairs was not practical because it wasnt heated and it wasnt in a convenient spot. The bed in the first bedroom (full) was not comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was fabulous!Other than that, we had a great time.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

Beautiful, clean, super peaceful mountain home tucked away enough for privacy but close to everything you need. We stayed here with my family, including my two year old daughter, and absolutely loved it. The rooms are cozy with nice carpeting and each room has a closet which is helpful. The kitchen has everything you need. The wood-burning fireplace is the best. The smell of a warm fire in the living room while cooking dinner after a long day of skiing cannot be beat. We loved being able to walk into the downstairs garage, take off our ski's & snowy clothes and head upstairs into the warmth of the living room. The views from the kitchen and dining area are gorgeous, and even though the house seems to be on a main road, its very quiet and chill. I'm planning another trip up to the mountains and will try to stay here. We absolutely loved the place and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful home with beautiful views

Just had a great weekend here! You can tell they’ve put a lot into redoing the place and the result is a clean, comfortable, cozy home. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus for anyone with a dog. The kitchen has all you need for a home cooked meal and there’s plenty of seating so you can all eat together. The views are gorgeous, bet even prettier in the summer/fall. Small downtown which was very cute and very close to both windham and hunter ski mountains. They are redoing the basement room too so this house will have even more potential. Owners were always quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend and hope we find the time to return.

Perfect family getaway!

My husband and I stayed with our three young kids for a long weekend in October. What a great trip! Beautiful and comfortable house, cute downtown and close to Hunter Mountain and Tannersville. And the views off the back deck are to die for! And Angela was so helpful...she even left a list of kid-friendly things to do in the area including a visit to Colgate lake and a hike at the arboretum (both within a mile from the house).

The house was great. It was comfortable and cozy all around. Lots of blankets and linens for our group. The kitchen was stocked with everything to cook a good meal. The backyard was very big for all of us to hang and play outdoor games. We have been to the area before and there is so much to do. We will be back!

One level home with partially finished basement. The first level is updated, comfortable and clean. There is another room with a bathroom in the basement which is not updated but livable. Plenty of linen with good kitchen amenities. The property sits on the side of a hill and is well maintained. The home is near Tannersville, Katerskill falls, North and South lake and Colgate lake. We were 6 adults and 2 small to medium dogs and were comfortable. We would return to this home in the future.

Perfect place for a friends/family getaway!

We were looking for a great place to start the summer with friends. We love coming up to this area in the winter time for skiing (will definitely be back to rent this house in the winter time! So close to Hunter and Windham!) and had been looking forward to doing some summer hiking and relaxing for a long weekend. We picked this house because of the location - close to hiking spots but still near restaurants, brewery, etc. and proximity to Colgate Lake was a big plus. Kerri was very informative and accommodating and left us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area - eating, drinking and activities. The house itself is perfect for both friend and family hang-outs. Kitchen is more than adequate with plenty of nice cookware - everything you need, really. The kitchen/dining area is open to the large living room and also has a large patio in the back with incredible views (there is also a front porch). Plenty of seating, nicely decorated, the rooms are spacious - one of the back bedrooms has a futon, but it is supremely comfortable. The whole place is renovated, there is a washer/dryer and there are two bathrooms (second bathroom is located downstairs). If you decide to take advantage of the lake in summer, just bring chairs/blankets to lounge on plus any floating device - lovely for swimming, too. I highly recommend this house. We were a party of six and it was more than enough space for us. We are already planning to come back in the fall to enjoy the views when the leaves turn and again for a ski weekend once winter is upon us! We found a gem on HomeAway!

The house is located 1 mile from Colgate lake, a beautiful spring fed lake for swimming, paddle boarding and/or hiking. It's close to everything. Hunter Mountain is less then 10 minute drive and Windham is a 15 minute drive, so you have great options for snowboarding / skiing or snowtubing.
