property was clean and having a queen in each room was nice. Being on the main street, it was convenient to beach and shops. Noise of main street and above shops was acceptable, but know you will get some.

Great place to stay!

This was our third stay at this impeccable apartment. It is in the heart of Short Sands, so convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach. The owners are very attentive to any questions you may have. We have always enjoyed our stay!

Very nice Apt right in town

We enjoyed staying at this property- it was very spacious, clean and looked even better in person than the pictures showed. The a/c made it COLD but not a bad thing! Parking and the location were very convenient!

Great location, lovely, clean and updated apartment

The location is right on the Main Street of York Beach so it can get a bit noisy but the convenience cancels that out. So close to shops, beach and restaurants. When we first arrived I was a bit concerned because it backs up into a trailer park and the outside of the building is not in good shape. Paint peeling, overflowing garbage and rickety stairs up to the apartment. Once you open the door it’s a very different story. They apartment is lovely!! It’s clean, bright and spacious. I would absolutely stay there again!

Our campground where you checked in is what's behind it. Our garbage is picked up regularly. I will looked into why it was ovetflowing.

Convenient location - parking area needs some work

The property was clean and the location was fabulous for our stay. We were a little disappointed that so much closed or had limited hours the week before Labor Day. Short Sands Beach is a very walkable distance and there are many other beaches nearby that you can drive to. Our only issues were with the parking area, there are gigantic potholes in both entrances, I scraped the bottom of my car. I mean these potholes are HUGE, you can't just drive around them, they are as big as a car! I was a little disappointed in my communications with the property manager - I messaged the first day to let her know that the outside light wasn't working, and I was redirected to talk to the people at the campground. I thought that was the purpose of the property manager, to not have to run around. Anyway, the campground people took care of it right away, so no further issue there. The property is directly over a pizza restaurant, so a couple of the rooms can be warm, and there is only one air conditioner that struggles to keep the place cool. There are fans provided, which did help, but we were also not there during a really hot period. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay.

We are aware of the potholes in the driveways. Unfortunately, those driveways are right of ways on neighboring businesses' properties, so fixing them is not within our control. We are a small family business. The campground is part of the business. They handle check-in, check-out, as well as any issues that arise during your stay.

Great Location

Such a great place!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We were very excited about the 3 bedrooms, all with queen sized beds. One of our favorite features was the streetside deck. It was so nice to relax outside at the table and take in the atmosphere. It's also only about a 2 minute walk to the beach!!! The communication with Rachel was outstanding. We highly recommend this location!!!

Home away from home

This property was immaculate, plenty of space, surprisingly quiet at night considering it's surrounded by shops. Loved that 2 of the bedrooms were away from one, giving parents a bit of privacy and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. My kids loved the freedom of being in town without needing transport to get there. Nostalgic for me, been coming up since I was born, used to work in a few of those stores, like a second home.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay in this apartment! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space it had! Location is just perfect for lugging kids and beach gear to and from. The family was lovely when we checked in. We would definitely love to stay here again! It was the most relaxing family vacation we've had in quite awhile 😊 Loved that they supplied dish soap, handsoap, starter toilet paper and paper towel. Bring your own bedding/towels. Two wonderfully large lobster pots came in handy to cook up some delicious local lobster but could use some upgraded cooking pots/pans and there were no pot holders (we just used a towel we brought). All in all an amazing spot for a family vacation. Thank you!

Can't beat the location!!

This is our second time staying at this apartment/condo. You can't beat the location. Just a short 2 minute walk, if that, to beautiful Short Sands Beach. A very short walk to all the stores and shops. The place is plenty big enough and very clean. The staff at the campground, where you check in, is very friendly and very helpful. We miss this place already. Can't wait till next year, as we hope to stay here again!
