Bejuco room is a large, bright, private room with its own bath and patio just two blocks from Playa la Ropa on Zihuatanejo Bay. The room has plenty of closet space, two comfortable single beds joinable into one king-sized bed if desired, table and chairs, microwave, coffeepot, and fridge. It has access to the main house front terrace with a small shared dipping pool, hammock, and rocking chairs for outdoor relaxation. The room is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan.
This private room is part of the main house, accessible off a shared wide, front terrace or through sliding glass doors from its own patio. The terrace is equipped with rocking chairs, outdoor dining table, free Wifi, and a small Jacuzzi-like dipping pool. Guests in this room have easy shared access to the main house kitchen for occasional light food prep.
Four separate buildings house independent apartments and rooms in the El Tamarindo at Casa Calamondin family complex that winds up a slope from street level. A pathway and a series of four exterior stairways wind up through the garden areas to access each of the modules. Cozy comfort and low-key relaxation characterize the home.
Every room and apartment has independent access from the exterior. There is free WiFi in the room and on both terraces. Basic weekly housekeeping and change of linens are included.
For outdoor lounging, guests also have shared access to a rooftop palapa-thatched terrace that overlooks the tropical greenery of La Ropa and affords lovely sunrise and sunset views.
Family is sometimes in residence, and they and other guests may share the front terrace, kitchen, and dipping pool.
Please note that because of the configuration of the property, we only accept children 12 years and older. The multi-level layout is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
