Loved the peaceful, beautiful location! Spent one morning watching some deer while enjoying my coffee on the covered patio. The house was very clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again soon!

Thanks For you nice words. Hope your trip was fruitful. Hope to see you next time. Godspeed.
We enjoyed an adorable cottage that was comfortable, allowed us the flexibility to cook as well as order in. Everything we needed was available plus a few extras provided by the hosts! Everything was laid out to easily understand and follow. We appreciated the snow removal as well! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to staying there in the future.
I was attending a conference at USU in Logan and this was the perfect quiet getaway. All the gardens in the neighborhood and at Julia's cottage are in bloom. I picked raspberries from their bushes and I saw a doe and 2 fawns when walking on the property. Easy drive to the conference.

Beautiful little slice of heaven!
One word to describe this place - darling!! The owners did an amazing job remodeling this little cottage - it has everything you need for a little get-away. My mom and I used it for a weekend away for a local bike race and it was perfect! Very close to gorgeous hikes up the mountains and to Logan city - but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful little town life of Mendon. The owners were the sweetest host & hostess - they made sure we had everything we needed (to include a yummy little treat) and were very accommodating to anything we needed. We were both very happy with our stay - and have already booked the weekend for next year! Thank you again Bruce & Lottie!

We loved this place so much that we wished we could have stayed an extra week. The place was very clean. We loved the kitchen area, spending our time cooking and playing games at the table. I was with my sister and we spent time doing crafts together on the patio, taking walks around the area soaking in the beautiful fields and scenery, and taking trips to nearby Logan and Southern Idaho. The hosts were amazing, leaving fresh flowers for us on the patio, Crumbl cookies and a fridge stocked with all kinds of sodas. They checked in on us to see if we needed anything and offered some things from their garden. We loved our stay and hope to do it again next time we visit Logan.

Shannon and Crystal, We loved having you so much. Thank you for your kind words! We love the rocks and our grandchildren especially loved finding them as treasures. Thank you so much and come again anytime!
Tucked away in small town outside Logan, UT. Large plush grass area with large garden. Walkway to the woods where there is a guest campfire nestled below 2 one bed tree houses (separate rentals). The cottage itself is a childhood home of the current caretaker and is old with modern amenities. There is a built in ironing board and lots of built in cabinets and shelves. Very cute! The hosts were close by but on other side of trees so you had privacy. Just a very serene and beautiful place!

Immaculate, darling, quiet getaway!
My wife and I wanted to try something different than the typical hotel stay for our weekend getaway to Logan, and this property did not disappoint. It is only 15 minutes or so to downtown Logan in the west foothills of Cache Valley in a beautiful secluded yard only minutes walking distance from hiking trails. Bruce and Lottie not only just completed remodeling this cottage, which has everything you could think of needing at a rental property, but they are also wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable hosts who are very responsive and who were able to make some wonderful suggestions for both dining and hiking. They even left some surprise treats for us upon arrival. We will definitely recommend staying at this property to our friends!

We are glad you had a great time. Come again
My mom and I needed a break away from the noise and chaos of life, and Julia's Cottage was perfect! It was just what we needed! The house is adorable and so reminiscent of my great-grandmother's house that was in nearby Hyde Park. We love the updates that had been done to the house, while still keeping the vintage charm of the home. We loved sitting outside and listening to the frogs and crickets at night. Such a beautiful property! The only comments we would make is that the listing shows air conditioning as an amenity, but there is only one window unit in one of the bedrooms. I was grateful we had cooler weather when we stayed so it wasn't a problem for us. The other comment we had is in regards to the beds, couch and love seat. They all seem well worn and there isn't much support to them left. The bed was very soft, which my mom couldn't handle, and so she ended up sleeping on the couch, which wasn't much better for her because of how worn they are. The bed I had felt very soft and kind of saggy. I didn't sleep well as a result of it. Other than those things, we really did adore the place. It was such a great oasis! The owners were so great and even checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. We are truly grateful we were able to stay here! I highly recommend it!
What an absolutely perfect cottage! The interior decor is homey and bright, and it was the perfect environment for my friend and I to have a peaceful New Years getaway. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and even as we were getting in the car to leave we were talking about planning a return trip. The surrounding area is picturesque and quiet, ideal for a tranquil retreat. The owners are amiable and sweet. My friend and I treasure the experience we had at the Julia Cottage and we have already recommended it to nearly everyone we know.

Thanks so much! The drawing of the Cottage is beautiful. Thanks so much. We hope to see you soon.
Some gifted wordsmiths may come close to using words to describe and convey the feeling of an experience, but it is unlikely even they could do it in a short review such as this. We stayed 30 days, and "simply perfect" works for us. Thanks so much Bruce and Lottie. G&S
Lovely, peaceful and safe -this quaint cottage reminded me of my grandmother's home, always inviting with things to explore outside. I was able to relax and forget the goings-on of the outside world.
This is a quaint older house in a small country town. Nicely furnished house and kitchen with a great yard for relaxing outside. The owners live on the adjacent property and couldn't be nicer showering me with cookies and produce from the garden. Had a very enjoyable week.
Bruce and Lottie are great hosts and their hospitality was greatly appreciated. Julia’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. Mendon is a beautiful, quiet, little gem in northern Utah and we plan to return in the future.
We loved our trip to the Julia Cottage. The house was just as advertised and very clean. The yard is perfect for kids and has a built in firepit that we really enjoyed. The beds are comfortable and the Cottage just has such a relaxing feel overall. Bruce and Lottie were very friendly and went out if their way to make our stay wonderful. We can't wait to come back.
We highly recommend this cozy and charming cottage close to Logan. Excellent hosts!!

He's planning to do a Spartan this year, 2018. Elizabeth is a NICU R.N. who loves the miracle of life, entertaining, and is passionate about her family, photography, and the great outdoors. Come stay in our little piece of paradise...
Why they chose this property
Bruce grew up in Mendon across the street with many fond memories. We wanted to raise our family in a safe, quiet, hard-working country environment. We bought the property to build our dream home behind it on the adjacent wooded lot. Mendon is a friendly community with wonderful city events bringing people together to build memories. We enjoy the walking trails and mountains nearby.
