Beautiful kitchen that looks out onto large landscaped garden. Paintings by internationally famous artist (the illustrator of the Japanese edition of Harry Potter) throughout the house.
Extremely light. Excellent location -- steps from shops and National Nature Reserve (Richmond Park). Excellent access to public transport -- both subway and trains -- giving access to the heart of London in 30 minutes. Full library. Piano. One bath/one shower -- two and a half baths.

A peaceful haven in the perfect location!

My husband and I had the most relaxing 8 days at the house. Its bright, quiet and on a lovely, peaceful street very close to local cafes, restaurants. It all had a cosy, neighbourhood vibe. Dan is just brilliant, the most responsive, friendly host who wants you to be comfortable and enjoy his house! And enjoy his house, we did. :-)

Fantastic artist's home near the top of Richmond Hill

We loved our stay at Dan's home (decorated throughout with his own artwork) - everything you could need is there (fantastic kitchen!), and it sits on a lovely street just blocks from bakery, pubs, market, etc - a few blocks from a stop on the bus line and 10-15 minute walk to major train station for getting into London. Full of character and simply a perfect place for an extended stay. And Dan is super responsive with any questions you may have. Highly recommended.

Great value, well-located and a visual treat

Roomy, and very close to neighborhood grocery, bakery and pharmacy, and a short walk to the town center and train station. From the colorful original artwork on the walls to the enclosed garden, this home is fun to look at and live in. Dan was flexible and a great communicator and we really enjoyed watching his Ted Talk!

Great house on the Hill

Dan's house is located right on the Richmond Hill with quick access to Wholefoods, the high street and most importantly Richmond Park. Can't fault it with 3 lovely bedrooms and a large garden for the kids to run around in. The place was spanking clean when we got in and is well maintained. We had a couple of minor hiccups during our stay which Dan fixed immediately. He is a highly responsive and reasonable host which made our stay more enjoyable. The house has 3 good sized bedrooms with queen beds but it is worthwhile noting that one of the queen beds is actually a sofa bed and is comparably less comfy than the other two. Likely to be important for you and your back if you are planning on a stay beyond a week.

Dan was a superb host. His home was clean and comfortable! The tube was a 13 minute walk !

The property was lovely with lovey bathrooms and comfy beds! The meigjnorhood was fun and safe. Also Dan left us milk and orange juice and that was so nice of him! Thanks Dan for a lovely stay!
