- Cancellation Policy. Cancellations must be made 30 days before Check-in Date. Should you need to reschedule your $300 non-refundable deposit will transfer once, however, if you cancel altogether you will lose the deposit. No refunds are given after final payment (30 days before check-in) has been made, but you may reschedule once. Rates are based upon season. Guests are responsible for any rate difference. You may purchase traveler's insurance through Vacation Rent Payment for emergencies. Cancellations Due to Inclement Weather: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: a. The state or local authorities order a mandatory evacuation. b. Refunds will be based on the unused portion of rent only. Calypso Towers Resort Community Association, Inc. Rental Rules, Regulations and Important Information 1. ALL Calypso Resort & Towers condos are NON-SMOKING. No smoking is allowed in the unit or on the balcony. There is a $100 fine for all violations. 2. At least one Guest must be 25 years of age and must occupy the unit during the period of rental. The violation of this policy would be grounds for an immediate eviction. 3. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the Rental Agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Guest is responsible for all persons in the property. 4. Guest and registered guest party must wear resort bands to use resort amenities. 5. No Pets are not permitted. 6. Per Fire Code and occupancy restrictions, air mattresses and other sleep devices are not acceptable. 7. Observe posted resort pool & spa rules. The outdoor pool & spa close at 10:00 p.m. and open at 9:00 a.m. daily. No glass bottles, glassware or breakables are allowed in the pool/spa area. 8. Calypso Resort & Towers has a designated “quiet time” beginning at 10:00 p.m. and remains until 8:00 a.m. daily. Please be respectful of other resort guests and play radios, televisions, etc. at a reasonable volume. 9. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Excessive dirt and trash will be considered as damage. 10. Only use appliances for their intended use and do not relocate them for any reason. 11. Parking: PARKING PASSES-Parking passes are located inside the unit. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter’s expense. Check-In Procedures 1. Check-In time is 4:00 p.m CST. 2. The parking code and WiFi password are included in your welcome letter. The welcome letter is emailed the week of your vacation. The registered guest is required to email or text a photo copy of both credit card and photo id no later than the day before check-in. The name on the photo id and credit card must be the registered guest. The door code is issued the day before check-in at 10 a.m. CST. Passes and resort bands will be left for you and the guests provided in your final guest list in your condo. Resort bands must be worn during your stay at Calypso Resort and Towers. There will be a $10 charge for lost or missing bands. 3. The parking deck sky bridge and courtesy luggage carts are available on Level 3 of the parking deck. Please follow all cart regulations (check-out and return policies.) We ask that you unload carts at condo door or just inside. This will decrease the chances of wall damage. 4. A thorough cleaning and inspection of this unit is done prior to your arrival. If you notice any existing damage, needed repairs, or missing items, please contact the manager immediately. You may be responsible for any damage not reported. 5. ENJOY your vacation home!! Check-Out Procedures 1. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m CST. 2. Please remove any trash from the unit and place in the trash chutes located at the end of the walkway. 3. Load any dishes in dishwasher and bath and kitchen linens (towels, wash cloths, hand towels, kitchen towels, etc.) in washer and start cycles. Housekeeping will remove bed linens. 4. Leave resort bands in condo. Remember there is a $10 charge for any lost or damaged bands. 5. Return all DVDs and games to their appropriate storage locations. Please make sure that all DVDs and board games remain in the condo. Removal will result in a damages charge. 6. THANK YOU so much for staying with us! Have a safe trip home and we hope to see you again soon!! Important Information Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Guests are provided with 1 roll of toilet tissue per bath, 1 clothes detergent, dryer sheets, 1 dishwasher detergent, and 1 roll of paper towels, and hand soap. Guests are responsible for any additional needs to include personal bathing toiletries. Each condo has an iron and hair dryer. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The condo has a washer and dryer for your use. We suggest you bring beach towels. Linens and bath towels should not be taken from the unit. Calypso has a trash chute system. Should your trash bins become full, dispose of trash properly. Trash chutes are located at the end of each floor level and are so labeled. Renovations and Repairs: Occasional repairs and renovations may occur in neighboring units. These repairs and renovations may only be done during regular business hours and is enforced by the HOA. As a result, there may be unforeseen noise or dust during your stay. Refunds will not be given. Fitness Facility: The Fitness Facility is located on Level 3 of the Lobby. Hours are from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pool Hours: Pool hours are from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. daily. The east pool is heated during the cooler months. Quiet Time: Quiet Time is from 10:00 p.m. to 9 a.m. and is enforced by Calypso Property Patrol (850)866-2101.
