We stayed here for between 2-3 weeks and absolutely loved it. My son loved the loft and had a great time enjoying the forest. It’s close enough to town to grab coffee or breakfast but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The hosts are incredibly responsive and just very kind people in general. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property is great for a quiet family getaway. The stream beds offer alot of opportunities for exploration, the cottage itself is small but has everything a family of 3 needed for some good quality time. Star gazing, game night, movie night, and home cooking, were fun and easy here. Its a great location between Wilton and Mt Blue State Park. The bedrooms are creative and fun, but not appropriate for young children- lofts with no railings. Our 11 yr old was fine with them, but I would caution parents with children younger than 6. The beds were comfortable and water hot, good water pressure, but watch your use- this area water conservation is in effect! It was so quiet, we loved falling asleep to the sound of the stream. No AC, but we didn't need it anyway- it was in the 70s and sunny, cool at night so leaving the windows open kept the cottage at a perfect temperature. We enjoyed the rec room for movie night and the boardgames available - an increase in selection would be good for anyone staying longer than 4 days. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet family getaway near nature.

My stay at the cottage was so lovely. It was very quiet, very secluded, and had everything that I needed and more to have a comfortable stay. I appreciated how it was so thoughtfully laid out right down to the decor. It was almost too big for me and my dogs, but it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it to anyone with a larger family to stay.
