Cozy 2-bedroom apartment in charming historic 1920's home with original bathroom and all original woodwork, updated with modern amenities and wanting for nothing. Enjoy an amazing night's sleep on new luxury firm hybrid mattresses in both the king and queen bedrooms, with luxurious hotel-style linens and comforters and pillows. Well-stocked eat-in kitchen with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including gas stove, complete pots and pans, dishwasher, coffee station, microwave, etc. A short Uber or subway ride into Boston. Centrally located for day-trips to Salem, the Cape, Maine, the White Mountains, and about a mile from the new Assembly Row complex with restaurants, movie theatre, and shopping; and less than two miles from Encore Boston Harbor Casino.

Love this property! We have stayed here a few times for visits to Tufts. Mark is always the gracious host, always responsive and accomodating. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and the place is immaculate! We will be back!!

Absolute perfection! What a gem of a property with a great host to match. Everything you could possibly want and more. Mark had restored his home to a very high standard. Most comfortable beds ever with exceptional quality bed linen. Never experienced such high quality in a Vrbo property. Didn’t want to leave!! Can’t wait to return. This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many around the country. Mark lives on site and is extremely friendly and made great suggestions for local and Boston area attractions. He has put a lot of work into the house and the care he has for it shows in the craftsmanship and the cleanliness of the property. We left for Bar Harbor for a couple of days and came back to the Boston are for a few more days after and stayed in a different rental and man do we wish we would’ve stayed in Mark’s place again instead! Great home in a great neighborhood. Any time we come back to Boston this will be the only place we stay at.

Our stay was wonderful, definitely a 5 star review. The beds with hotel style linens, the amazing kitchen with all the modern conveniences, the balcony off the kitchen was lovely, I could go on and on. One thing that made the stay special for me was the coffee and half and half available for our morning coffee. The owner, Mark, was just a phone call away if we needed anything which I really appreciated. Simply a great place to stay and would stay there again!

Beautiful house

We only stayed for one night but I truly wished we could have stayed longer. It was a great place. Very clean and nicely decorated. Just a comfortable, homey, apartment. I would definitely recommend this place.

Mark‘s place was very convenient to Boston and the North Shore. It had everything we needed and the coffee was great!! The rooms were comfortable and the AC was a pleasure after 100 weather all day.

Our family has stayed at a lot of properties over the years, but never has there been one so utterly charming, so perfectly appointed, and that immediately felt like home. This one wins the prize, hands down. Mark has thought of literally everything and nothing is left to question. Add in the little touches like good coffee, comfy beds, high quality bedding, HUGE fluffy towels, etc...and you won't want to leave! We sure didn't. Thank you, Mark! This was such a perfect home-away-from-home for our family to explore Boston and the surrounding areas. It is beautiful with wonderful, original architectural details. Our host was friendly and thought of everything we might need- well stocked kitchen and coffee. Great location in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the train station. Luxurious and Abundant Amenities

Mark's home offered a perfect stay for my family of four. The home was an impeccably restored property with a proper living room which had very comfortable furniture to relax in. There was a full dining table to eat at and an impressively outfitted kitchen. The bedrooms had the most comfortable beds with high end linens and all the storage you might need. The towels were a very pleasant surprise, super thick and luxurious. And the supplies were abundant. The train to get into Boston was a short drive away. A perfect stay - thank you!

Beautiful home

Booked our stay to attend a concert at Roadrunner in Boston which was an easy Uber ride away. Mark was very kind and allowed us to check in early, the courtyard behind the house was beautiful with a cozy patio furniture to relax in. The house was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Will absolutely book again for future Boston endeavors. Highly recommend!

My fav VRBO stay

My husband and I stayed here for a night and wish we could’ve spent a week. This place really brings in all the comforts of home - the cleanliness of the home, the quality of the furniture, even the linens and pillows are high end. The bed has to be one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in while traveling. I just really appreciate Mark’s attention to detail in the providing the creature comforts to visitors. And to top it off even the shower had Whole Foods shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The neighborhood seems very nice and safe which is a big plus and there are plenty of nice restaurants and places to eat at nearby.

I am a handyman and have spent the last eighteen years bringing this property back to it's original glory, while also bringing it into the 21st century with modern amenities. The apartment is a separate unit in my two-family home; I live in the other unit so I will be here if you need me. You will see me out and about painting and maintaining the home.

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood in the up-and-coming Boston suburb of Malden. Malden boasts many wonderful restaurants with great ethnic diversity, a bustling town center which is walking distance which includes Boda Borg, tea shops, juice bars, and restaurants. Malden is less than three miles from the Boston City line, less than two miles from the Encore Boston Harbor Casino, and only two miles from Assembly Row which has many restaurants, a luxury theatre, and a game center. It is also conveniently located for day trips to Salem, the coast of Maine, or the Cape.
