House was beautiful, clean, and had everything you need. It's perfect for a weekend stay however there is not a lot of storage for unpacking for an extended stay.
Great stay as all I needed was a clean, nice little cabin close to the river! Would definitely book here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and comfortable. Being from Kansas, we were not used to the winding roads but we would definitely consider staying again!
The property was just as listed, and very clean and cozy! The owners were good at communicating and answering any questions we had during our stay. I would recommend bringing a kayak or renting a boat as it is on the river. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation
It was in a quiet and peaceful location. We had more than we needed for stay. The public access to the river is very close, you can either walk or drive to it. You can bring your boat and launch it from there. House was nice and neat. Internet and TV is there. Really, it had everything we needed. Would recommend.
This home is represented correctly and we highly enjoyed the stay. I do have a few recommendations with one being highly important.
1) Place a trash can on the property so the occupants don't have to carry it 100 yards down the road to a dumpster.
2) Most importantly, put some cheap chairs on the deck. We couldn't even sit outside because we assumed the location would have some.
Thanks for a nice vacation getaway.

Tim, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
"Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done regarding the location of the dumpster. Additionally, there is no one available to take the trash from the property to the dumpster after a guest leaves, so this is why we kindly ask our guests to take their trash to the dumpster when they depart. We will be adding a covered picnic table and extra chairs after the winter, as well as updating the outside lighting that will have a switch inside of the property to turn on/off. Thank you for helping us to improve and we hope you'll come back in the future."

Our Stay
We enjoyed our stay at the house just wished we could have rented a boat. There was not anyone around to get any information or to talk to. The house was very clean and tidy. The beds were not very comfortable to sleep in and we needed a television in the room. We did have everything we needed in the house. The internet was very sufficient and satellite. The manager should leave instructions on how to use the coffee maker it was very diffacult to figure out.

Patrick, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall, but are sorry certain aspects fell short. A few weeks prior to check-in, the homeowner sends an email to guests with their information as well as the guest contact's information, including phone numbers and emails. Additionally, we at Evolve also send guests this information two weeks prior to check-in. The guest contact and owner are available to answer any questions their guests have, but they never heard from you during your stay. We do note in the listing that the house only has one TV and show this in the photos of the living room, but we apologize that this didn't meet your needs. The owner goes above and beyond for their guests and we are confident future guests will have exceptional stays. Best, the Evolve Team

The house was not on the river
By the pictures that were posted of the house it made it look like the house was on the river and you had your own private bock . But the house was across the street on the other side of the lodge and you shared a community doc with the lodge.. Besides not being on the river the house was what is made out to be

Creepy 3rd bedroom
The main reason we wanted this house was the 3rd bedroom. But we sort of got screwed over on this. 3rd bedroom was what looked to be an old garage maybe? Converted into bedroom on the opposite side of the house as the other 2 bedrooms. Kids were too scared to sleep down there and the adults couldn't or else we would not be able to hear the baby in the other room. We liked the secluded area and was clean enough with fresh smelling sheets though! There was everything we needed for our getaway

Abby, we are sorry your stay fell short of your expectations. To create additional sleeping quarters, the owner had turned an enclosed porch into what is now the third bedroom. Our listings are carefully built to reflect our properties in an accurate light, and we can confirm the pictures of the third bedroom are just as depicted on the site. The homeowner does all they can to make it the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property continuing to host many satisfied guests. Best, the Evolve Team

You can’t get there from here
We rented the property in order fish the White and Norfork Rivers. Though the property is on the White, it was below where we
planned to fish and there is no road that runs along the river. Every day we had to drive north to Rt 62, east on 62 then south back to the river. The trip was even longer for the Norfork. This made coming back to the property for lunch or a break onerous.
The property was clean, everything worked. The furnishings and decor are getting tired and need updating. It was fine for 3 guys there for fishing, but if I were with my wife and family they would be disappointed.
Finally, get a couple good frying pans, a can opener that works (the 2 you have don’t), and get rid of all the cheap plastic serving utensils and get quality ones. There is nothing worse than starting the day with eggs frozen to a frying pan and a cheesy spatula that can’t get under them.

Dick,
We believe we’ve accurately represented the property’s location online. It’s unfortunate that it did not turn out to be the most efficient/effective location for your planned fishing excursions.
Prior to booking, perhaps a phone call to the owner (with respect to the location) and/or a call to a local fishing guide service could have been helpful. They either may have been able to offer some direction as to property locations most suitable based on your planned events.
Or, at the very least, perhaps an exchange would have ruled out this location. In my email, I gave you the name of a local guide who could have helped with this.
Regarding the Property Inventory, utensils can go missing. Apologies for your frustration to this end. The kitchen is to be stocked with proper cooking utensils including a metal spatula. We will inventory.
In addition to stainless steel pots & pans, cast iron skillets were located in the drawer underneath the stove.
Come back and see us.
My husband and I wanted to find a private area/house to spend time with our kiddos for fun quality time. This place was perfect and so beautiful. My daughter loves her room with the vanity hand my boys lives there room. They enjoyed there privacy. The house very cozy, peaceful and clean. The first contact was easy to reach and very friendly.y husband and boys spend every morning fly fishing with very easy access to the river. We are planning on booking for next thanksgiving as well, just hope it is available!!!!
This was very cozy, quiet and clean. We enjoyed sitting by the wood burning stove with a glass of wine. The scenery is beautiful and the home was more equipped than expected. Very nice
We had to stay for a family funeral with my family and brother. It was perfect as there were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so we weren't cramped and were able to cook. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We'd stay again if we were ever down that way.
