Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-6)
We live in Colorado and love the mountains - but Hawaii just has a special magic we couldn't resist. 20 years later, we love Hawaii even more. The beauty and serenity fills our hearts with joy. Bonnie & Steven
Bonnie purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Bonnie chose Kohala Coast
We choose our Vista Waikoloa condo because of the beautiful grounds, the solid concrete construction, great location and peaceful feeling. We visit the area every week, and after several years (and many options) finally found the perfect condo.
What makes this Condo unique
We love to walk to Sansei (Japanese food) in the Queen's shops on Sunday or Monday for a 50% off special, then take a leisurely walk to the ocean to watch a beautiful sunset. It's magical. Another favorite activity is to visit the dolphins at the Hilton, usually with a stroll along the manicured gardens and among the ancient art along the way. Bohdi Tree restaurant is amazing!!! Fantastic vegan gluten free options. http://www.underthebodhi.net/

Another excellent diving summer at D303
Vista Waikoloa D303 is our favorite condo for value, location, brightness and furnishings. We liked the improvements and immediately booked the condo for July 13 to October 13, 2020. The condo has everything we require to feel at home during an extended stay. Bonnie is excellent during all aspects of the rental process.
Could not have been better! Everything for everyone in a perfect setting.
Thanks so much.
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Safe travels home. (:
We really felt comfortable staying at this property. It was nice a spacious. Great to come back to after our adventures. I liked the slip covers over the chairs and couches. Full kitchen was a bonus. Ice maker didn’t work for more than a day so we bought and made ice. Close to shops, walking paths, restaurants. The complex is very well kept and quiet. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Thanks for staying with us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very clean property. Although it could use updating relative to appliances and decorations, it’s value-pricing more than made up for this minor observations.
Quiet location, great value
Great location for the condo close to lots of great beaches and day trips. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels, large master bedroom and bathroom. Newer washer and dryer. The large wrap around lani and view is wonderful. The condo is a little dated but it met all our needs, and if it was fully renovated the cost would be higher so it is priced well for value. the complex was very quiet, nice, clean bbq area
Is *perfect not strong enough . . .
Here were are once again, after just returning from another fabulous month spent in one of the most perfect accommodations and location. This was our sixth and most pleasant vacation. It now feels like our home, and like home, it couldn’t be better, as it’s spacious, airy and is on the quiet 3rd. level. Very short walks to the beach, and the sunsets, with meeting people from around the globe, Japan, Canada, France, and yes, even from the states, and that really includes the *Hawaiian people!!
We absolutely enjoy the sunrise, when it floods the living room with its warmth, as we view Mauna Kea, and Mauna Loa and the surrounding hills. Speaking of warmth, the owners are superb and extremely accommodating with any of our requests, which are few! No need for the AC, as we open the sliding glass doors, and the front door, while closing the screens. Nothing better than a warm breeze flowing through our stay! It’s also fantastic sitting out on the veranda, watching the tropical rain storm pass, when it happens,ll the while having papayas, filled with pineapple, and bananas. Don’t want to cook in the condo, head over to a number of fine restaurants. Such as the Marriotts bar area, and watch the sunset from there, or after a ten minute plus drive, Mauna Lani region and dine at Pele’s Woc. Also should you be driving back from Hilo, do stop in the little town of Honoka’a and have a fantastic pizza at the Cafe Il Mondo, just check their hours, or, as we do, just pop over to Honka’a for lunch. The drive from Waimea is particularly green and beautiful and resembles the forealps of Switzerland, with cows, however, no bells. Now, on our return from Waimea, it’s a must to drive the Kohala mountain road, (route 250) for coffee and ice-cream in Hawi, all the while taking in the beautiful views from 6,000 feet! Psst . . oh do take your camera!
Yes, we’ll be returning for the next 10 + years!!
