We stayed four nights, ate dinners here, visited the Glacier and took several long hikes. Great location in the Valley, extremely comfortable for longer stays. Highly recommended!
We had a great stay at Hummingbird Hideaway. The house is immaculate and clean with everything you could need!! It was a great location & we loved our trip to Juneau!!!
It was a bit drafty but thankfully after the first night, it warmed up. Overall it was a great place to stay, my boys loved having a yard to run around and I enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was. I would recommend it for families or anyone wanting a nice quiet stay.
Hummingbird Hideaway was perfect for our Juneau vacation! The property is very clean and bright with a nice outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. This one-bedroom property has lots of closet space, a sizable bathroom and kitchen and nice high ceilings. Our family of four had plenty of space and our teenage boys found the sofa bed to be comfortable. The property is centrally located and just a quick drive to Mendenhall Glacier and several fishing streams and hiking trails. The owners were friendly and easy to work with and provided numerous household items and plenty of linens/towels. We highly recommend Hummingbird Hideaway and would definitely stay here again!
Everything was perfect and comfortable. My only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub and there was not. Otherwise it was a great place with comfortable accommodations.
Great retreat in a quiet neighbourhood. Sofa bed not really up to sleeping two nearly adult children. We left some minor suggestions about kitchen etc. Surprised there was no approach from the owners who lived next door.
Extremely clean, comfortable, and cozy. Loved the street, neighbors and consideration.
The bed is really, really comfortable too.

Quiet and Convenient Facility
This stand-alone facility is spacious, very quiet, fully stocked in terms of bedding, kitchen utensils, etc. and has a great bed. It is convenient to Juneau and especially the Mendenhall Glacier. The quiet neighborhood encourages refreshing walks before or after exploring the museums, shops, docks, etc. that Juneau offers. The owners provided unexpected and welcoming items in the refrigerator and cupboards, which made it all the more nice.

We'll be back
We do a lot of business in Juneau and are always looking for way to make our stay feel more like a home-away-from-home visit. Hummingbird Hideaway was perfect! It was cozy and comfortable and far enough away from the action to feel relaxing but close enough to get where we wanted to get in 10 minutes.
We came in a few days early this visit to enjoy the area and "vacation" a bit, it was wonderful!
So, we'll be back!
