Air Conditioned Ocean Front Penthouse. Remodeled 5/2023 This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath, approx 1600sq ft condo in a 4 unit building. We are RIGHT on the ocean on a private beach. This is the top floor penthouse unit. The unit was remodeled in May 2023 and has premium upgrades. Everything you will need for your stay is included. Washer/Dryer in Unit, Plates, Cups, Dishes, Bosch Dishwasher, subzero refrigerator, custom cabinets, Wolf Range. I have a full-time host that is available 24.7.

This property is right on the beach. It was nice to have a reserved parking spot and our daughter was able to park across the street. We loved how close it was to Pepperdine. Communication with our host was fantastic.

We loved out stay and would highly recommend to other travelers - we plan to be back ourselves! I will list the big pros and a few minor 'cons' for those of you thinking about a beach-side stay!Pros:Almost everything. A beautiful brightly lit space. The Wolf oven was awesome. They even have a very accessible Dyson vacuum that made it easy to keep the floors sand-free. Off-street dedicated parking was a life-saver. And even in the furthest bedroom from the beach-side, you could still hear the waves at night. Absolutely delicious. The showers were great - awesome water pressure and heat. The beds were fantastic. Super comfortable mattresses and wonderful linens. The robo-toilet in the master bath was fun! A few little cons:The main thing was the cleaning. Although it was clear that the whole condo had been cleaned, there were empty soda bottles under the bed in the master bedroom, the countertop in the master bath hadn't been cleaned and there was just a ton of sand in the washer and dryer that we had to clean up before we used them. Second the couch and dining room chairs likely need to be replaced. They have a lot of stains and sink when you sit on them. Lastly It would be great to have blackout curtains in the bedrooms as the lights from neighbors are quite bright.These things were minor and we still had an amazing time. It's a very special space and made for great memories!

Enjoyed our stay

My son, small dog and I enjoyed 3 nights. Unfortunately the oven didn’t work and grill on deck is rusted…but the view, beachfront and time spent on private beach was priceless! Overall we enjoyed our stay for sure.

Thank you for you stay. Guest forgot to mention that we installed a new kitchen aid oven and new char-broil grill the next morning. Broke at 9pm, fixed by 10am. We always keep extras of everything in the garage! The beach is like having a boat.

What a perfect way to escape the heat and enjoy the perfection that is Malibu Road. The condo is clean and updated and there are no words to explain the view. Everything was exactly how it was reviewed. 5 stars across the board. We will most certainly be back.

You can’t get any closer to the beach than this! You are literally on top of the water when the tide is high. This place is a 5 in every way. The view. The cleanliness. The communication with the host. Everything. Before we arrived, we were worried that there would be a pet smell since it is a pet friendly property. And we were worried about pet fur and getting allergies. But we didn’t experience any of that. It was super clean and it didn’t smell like pets, and we never would have known that it is a pet friendly place if we hadn’t have read it on the website previously. So if you are considering booking but are worried about that like we were, then know that you have no need to worry! I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. It’s more than a 5!

Malibu Retreat

If you like to hear the ocean, watch dolphins and seals from the beachfront porch and NOT be right off the Pacific Coast Highway, this is the retreat for you. This location is nestled on a quiet off shoot road from the PCH, within striking distance (about 40 min / 1 Hr) of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills shopping and eateries. If you want to stay local you have a quiet beach and coastline to enjoy with views. Plenty of local eateries (most you have to drive to), but you can walk to the Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market for their fish and chips or calamari. Great location and stay. Will be back!

Good location

This is a nice 2 bedroom condo. The location is nice on the beach and the description provided was accurate. A little short on eating utensils but there is a dishwasher and soap provided.....if you have more than 4 eating it could be an issue. Furniture was comfortable although the deck furniture was worn a bit. Overall a good choice.
