This beautiful beachfront penthouse in the center of Alghero is located on the sixth floor, with elevator, near the sea. Penthouse equipped with Wifi Fibra unlimited + Netflix, Alexa. Everything is within walking distance in less than 5 minutes. There are stores and restaurants under the house. The sea is literally under the house.

The house is located in the center of Alghero near the Valencia Promenade, near Piazza Sulis, with access to a bathing establishment (on a cliff) a few hundred meters away and there is the possibility of renting a beach umbrella and sunbed. The penthouse has an interior living area of 110 m² and an exterior sea-view terrace of 12 m²

The house consists of 3 large sea-view bedrooms (two doubles, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, and one double with an additional single bed - for a total of 7 comfortable beds), 2 bathrooms with showers, utility room, tastefully furnished kitchen and large living room.

The house is equipped with Air Conditioning, Heat Pumps, Washing machine, Dishwasher, 2 hair dryers, iron and ironing board, bed and bath linens, 50-inch TV. Wifi Fiber unlimited + Netflix, Alexa.

The apartment is located in a posh and well-serviced area, with various activities in the immediate vicinity, usable without a car. Parking in the center will no longer be a problem because the penthouse has a garage, (only on request and for a fee), so you can visit Sardinia without having the problem of finding parking when you return.

To be paid on arrival in cash tourist tax.

Alghero was very easy to get around from where the condo is located .,It is in a very convenient location, we only used our car once in 8 days. Wonderful restaurants nearby by. Beautiful view of sea from the condo although the balcony was very narrow. It came very well equipped with all the cooking utensils anyone would need. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bright and clean apartment

We booked the flat for two weeks in August and had a lovely holiday. It was clean and bright and well equipped and Mercedes was very helpful, always responding very quickly to queries and giving us advice and tips about where to go. The kids loved Maria Pia beach but you really need a car to get to it, as it’s too hot to walk. We always found a parking space a minute or two away even in August. The end of the Via F Kennedy leads straight into the old town, where you can wander, shop, eat and drink for hours. We are missing Alghero! The flat had two good bathrooms and two doubles and a single room that has a second pull out bed. The views are amazing but the balcony is quite narrow and high up so we just admired through the window! The air con works brilliantly and quickly - no need to leave on all day. I would recommend he flat and Alghero!! Thanks again Mercedes.

Lovely apartment,central location

The apartment is beautiful, extremely clean and well furnished. It is very close to the main town, shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is a few minutes walk but is small and the sea bed is rocky. The nicer sandy beaches are located further away, walkable (20 mins) or there is a beach bus that costs €5 return and picks up very close to the apartment. The housekeeper who met us on arrival was very friendly but couldn’t speak English and as we are unable to speak Italian we communicated mostly in sign language. It would be helpful if the apartment had a visitors guide book (as all other rentals) to explain in English & other key languages essential information, such as - emergency contacts, doctors, police,hospital, where the nearest supermarket is, which way to the beach, beach bus/ local bus stops, and how to use the household appliances etc. We had issues with our flights being cancelled by our airline - be warned that Ryanair are very unreliable and when they do fly they are delayed both ways affecting check in and check out times. Maria was very understanding with our difficulties. Overall we were delighted with the apartment, it was in the perfect location and met our needs, it was very quiet at night yet so close to the town.

Tolle Wohnung direkt beim Zentrum

Mercedes ist eine sehr sympathische und professionelle Vermieterin- sehr schnelle Antworten und hilfreiche Tipps. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und modern. Sie befindet sich im obersten Stock eines Wohnblocks und hat einen schmalen Balkon, auf dem man nicht wirklich gut sitzen kann. Es ist daher nicht wirklich eine Penthouse Wohnung. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist aber sehr schön. Man ist in in wenigen Minuten im schönen Stadtzentrum. Die Strasse ist etwas laut aber die Fenster haben eine sehr gute Schallisolierung. Die schönen Strände sind rund 30 Minuten entfernt, die Stadtstrände näher.

Een fijn, schoon en ruim appartement. Op loopafstand is het centrum. Nadeel van de locatie is dat je heel moeilijk een parkeerplek kan vinden. Een privé parkeerplaats zou een aanbeveling zijn. Bij het inchecken werden we ontvangen door een zeer vriendelijke schoonmaakster maar zij sprak geen woord Engels! Niet handig als je buitenlandse gasten ontvangt die geen Italiaans spreken, hierdoor was er verwarring ontstaan m.b.t. het afvoeren van het gescheiden afval.

A dir poco fantastico

La casa è più bella che nelle foto, veramente grande e spaziosa. Tre ampie camere da letto e la sala enorme dove stare insieme e godere di tramonti indimenticabili. Maria è stata molto gentile e cordiale e quando siamo arrivati e ci ha spiegato come muoverci ad Alghero. La posizione dell'attico permette di muoversi molto rapidamente anche senza l'uso dell'auto. Sotto casa c'è esattamente tutto. Spiaggia, Ristoranti, Bar, Aperitivi, Supermarket, Passeggiata, Centro cittadino. Insomma tutto nel vero senso della parola. Noi avevamo l'auto ma a dire il vero non l'abbiamo mai usata se non per andare fuori Alghero. Consiglio sinceramente questa casa. Siamo stati molto bene. Per finire la vista è a dir poco spettacolare. Tramonti così si vedono solo nei sogni o in questa magnifica casa. Ritorneremo di sicuro.

Beautiful apartment in ideal location

This is a wonderful, bright, airy and spotlessly clean property in an excellent location, only a 10 minute stroll from the atmospheric old town of Alghero. We were a family of 6, grandparents, parents and two teenagers and the property was easily big enough to house us all comfortably. It is on the top floor of a block of apartments with wonderful sea views. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance and a lovely pizza take away across the road. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily stay again in the future.

Tolle Wohnung mit fantastischem Ausblick!

Wir kennen Alghero seit langem und waren von der Lage der Wohnung, Ausstattung und vor allem vom Ausblick sehr begeistert. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und man findet alles was man braucht. In 5 Gehminuten ist man direkt an der malerischen Promenade von Alghero und somit quasi im Zentrum der Altstadt. Gern wieder!

Lovely apartment with beautiful views of the sea

Simply one of the best places we have rented, The place is immaculately clean, with a wonderfully equipped kitchen, with plenty of glasses to sample the excellent local wines. The communication was wonderful and we had lots of tips for places to eat and visit. Plus the airport is only a 15min drive away. Thanks for giving up a great week away.

Beautiful place to stay!

This is a lovely apartment. Light, airy, clean and well equipped. It is a short walk to the old town which offers lots of excellent restaurants so plenty of choice. We hired a car which meant we could have trips out and find some of the lovely beaches close by. It really was a perfect holiday.

Wonderful apartment in Alghero

A very nice apartment, with a fantastic seawiev and terrace. Nearby Alghero historic center and a few steps from the sea. We enjoyed our holiday there. Tre sea and the sunset was wonderful. We found a very clean and well equipped apartment with a large balcony and great sea view. Perfect sunset every night. The owner and his colleague were very friendly and helpfull. Beach just across the street (Riservato). Great view over the Mediterrenean Sea. And of course Sardegna is well worth visiting in case you were never there.

Great location, missing luxuries American renters expect...

The apartment was spacious and generally fit our needs, especially the location. Unfortunately, two of the air conditioning units weren't working on very hot days, and couldn't be fixed until the end of our stay. Very little discount was offered or acceptable for the inconvenience. No extra linens. Towels old and poor quality. No supplies of any kind, even garbage bags. Nothing was included in the price -- everything was added on including electricity usage -- not what Americans expect. Suggestion to owner: beds should be twins that can be combined or separated for more convenience. Furnishings are cheap Ikea. Kitchen needs reorganization. As a property manager, I can say it had potential -- but needs to be more luxurious and then would command a higher price and would get a high level clientele.

Your review is the first one we have had in over 4 years which has not been 4 or 5 stars so we take your comments very seriously. We own some apartments in Alghero and we try hard to maintain our properties to the highest standards realistically possible. We try to keep our pricing competitive which means we can never reach the levels of a luxury hotel but we think that our apartments are a very good standard and that is nearly always the feedback we receive. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. You are right, one split of air conditioning got broken in the middle of August and I manage to replace the spar part after few days. Paying double for this fast service. For this discomfort you didn't pay electricity (because of this you keep 3 machines ON day and night and house was freezing) and you asked for huge discount. And I accepted. At the end you have had strong discount and you left the house like pigsty. Please remember that this is a self catering apartment, we provide the first start kit, drinkable water, pastries, paper, coffe, tea, washing machine soap, dish machine tablets, but soon after you finish this starter kit you need to buy food and products by yourself. Otherwise, please, go to the next hotel, where you pay daily what you paid for the whole week in my house. Ciao

Mooi gelegen schoon appartement

Dit was onze eerste ervaring met het huren van een appartement via deze website en het contact opnemen met de eigenaar. We waren zeer tevreden. Mercedes was goed te bereiken zowel via telefoon als email en gaf alle informatie over het appartement. Toen we aankwamen zag alles er precies zo uit zoals op de foto's staat. Het was heel erg schoon, de bedden lagen goed, de kamers waren ruim, ook fijn dat er een wasmachine was. Je had vanaf de woonkamer een pracht uitzicht naar de zee. Het centrum ligt op vijf minuten lopen. Ik was heel erg blij met de airco, hij deed het goed, we waren €17 extra kwijt voor tien dagen en hadden in twee kamers bijna dagelijks 's nachts aan. (Het enigste nadeel maar dat betreft de omgeving, dat het moeilijk is om je auto kwijt te kunnen, vooral 's avonds. Maar uiteindelijk hebben we toch in de periode van juni wat parkeerplekken kunnen vinden. In het hoogseizoen is het wel chaos in de straten. ) We hebben een top vakantie gehad in Alghero! We kijken ernaar uit om volgend jaar weer een appartement bij Mercedes te huren! Grazie per tutto Mercedes! Samuel & Chloe
