I chose Guting because it’s one of the rare places in Taipei that feels both central and calm. It’s an educational district with a slower pace of life, yet incredibly convenient—just minutes from the MRT and within walking distance of Shida (MTC), riverside parks, cafés, and local eateries. I enjoy that the neighborhood is quiet at night, surrounded by longtime residents, small parks, and students, rather than nightlife or heavy traffic.
