About this property
Tree Area Classic
This stylish cottage is nestled in the heart of Laramie's iconic tree area, just a four-minute walk to campus. The property showcases the best of Laramie, complete with locally made furniture and art, locally roasted coffee, and high-speed Internet.
GOOD TO KNOW
The Tree Area Classic, a historic 1919 bungalow, is on the tail end of a multi-phase renovation. That means beautiful bones, modern comfort, and a few endearing old-house quirks—like an uneven driveway and sidewalks.
Those “future phase” projects come paired with exceptional upkeep, thoughtful amenities, and consistently 5-star cleanliness, which guests often call out in their reviews.
COOKING & EATING
Just a less than a 20-minute walk from some of Laramie’s best restaurants, bars, bakeries, and coffee shops (think vegan meals that even committed carnivores love, and perfect pain au chocolat), many guests still find themselves preferring to stay in. If you do too, you’ll have everything you need:
Olive oil & basic cooking spices
Equipment: utensils, pots/pans, toaster, blender, coffee maker, Chemex, tea kettle, milk frother
Leisurely mornings: locally roasted coffee, tea, cream, sugar, hot chocolate, organic oats, to-go cups
Light meals: pasta, marinara, parmesan, soup, and pesto
Afternoon pick-me-ups: protein bars, nuts, chocolate, fresh fruit
Hydration covered: Topo Chico + chilled water
Need a specialty item like a crockpot? Just ask—we may have one you can borrow.
RESTING & RELAXING
Upstairs living room with large south-facing windows and a vintage Western record collection—great for hanging out or winding down
A large-screen TV tucked away in a vintage-inspired rec room – perfect for movie nights
Cozy blankets for cool Wyoming evenings
Indoor plants throughout the home
SLEEPING IN
Hit snooze as long as you’d like. The two larger bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, while the smaller rooms offer full beds. Each bed is outfitted with a medium-firm mattress, premium cotton percale sheets, a linen duvet, and velvet blackout curtains for deep, uninterrupted rest.
BATHROOMS
Enjoy plush, sheet-sized towels and premium shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We’ve also stocked extra essentials—moisturizer, makeup remover, toothbrushes, and toothpaste—just in case. The home includes a full bath upstairs and an additional 1.5 baths downstairs.
LAUNDRY
Whether you’re in Laramie for a weekend or a couple of weeks, you’ll have everything you need to keep things fresh. Enjoy a free washer and dryer, detergent, stain remover, an iron + ironing board, and a handheld steamer—all tucked neatly out of the way but ready when you need them.
NEED TO CHECK IN WITH THE OFFICE?
The basement includes a dedicated workspace—complete with a desk and fast WiFi. It’s an easy, quiet spot for answering emails, planning adventures, or squeezing in a Zoom call before heading out.

BACKYARD OASIS
A simple, unfussy outdoor space with a small conversation set—perfect for morning coffee, post-adventure downtime, or catching up at the end of the day.

DO’S, MAYBES & DON’TS
PARTIES? Nope.
SMALL GATHERINGS? Maybe—with permission. Inviting a couple of friends or family is totally fine, just ask first. But loud, late, high-traffic, glitter-adjacent partying is a hard no out of respect for our neighbors, hardworking cleaning crew, and future guests.
• No smoking indoors
• No weapons
• No additional guests or pets without approval
• Quiet hours: 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m.
• Please read the cancellation policy so there are no surprises.
• Occasional weather-related internet/power outages do happen in Wyoming—refunds aren’t provided for these, but we promise to try to keep the space as cozy as possible.
