The Nest suited our needs for 5 people in our group. Plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate us all! Excellent areas to go explore and with in walkable distances. The host gave great instructions for checking in and expectations. Responsive to our needs as well. We all enjoyed our stay at the Nest and in Tacoma.

The townhouse (really the second and third floors) has excellent space — four bedrooms and three baths. There were plenty of bath towels and the washer and dryer were greatThe neighborhood is going through a transition, though we always felt safe. It’s only a block to Wright Park, which is great. We were frustrated that we had to walk past overflowing garbage bins every day (we were there six nights) as we walked to the front door. We messaged the owner, who said the cleaning crew should have taken care of that and we could put our garbage in other bins. There was never an offer to empty them.

There was a lot of unhoused people near the property and their carts etc scattered on the street, and a group of them were doing drugs in the 7-11 parking lot. It made us a little uneasy and more worried about our vehicle on the street parking.For the property it had a lot of pet hair, some things could have been cleaner. Would suggest new pillows and adding more washcloths. We had to wash towels to have washcloths for the second night. Also suggest cleaning up some of the soap dispensers that look grimy, the door shelves in the fridge and the fingerprints off the living room TV.The stains on the carpet were a bit of a turn off.
