Very large and luxury cottage for rent, exceptional panoramic view over the entire valley and Stoneham Ski Resort. Few minutes from downtown Quebec City and Village Des Sports in Valcartier. Huge game room on the mezzanine with pool table, baby-foot and hockey table. Well-equipped and practical modern kitchen, vast family room, 4 bathrooms and a powder room, private 4 seasons hot tub to enjoy your pleasure, indoor wood fireplace & outdoor fire place for evenings under the stars. Huge terrace with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Comfortably hosting 24 people with rooms furnished with Queen beds. Perfect for gatherings with family or friends.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: no smoking, parties permitted, no pets.

It was a wonderful experience

We were a group of 21 people (5 families) got together to enjoy Quebec. We loved the property and everyone enjoyed it. House was clean, big enough to fit all of us in, game room was a hit too.

Family Trip

We had a great time at Stoneham Chalet. The communication with the host was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The house was very clean and spacious. The outside view of the mountains was incredible. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful & comfortable chalet perfect for large group

Me and 20 other friends stayed here for a mountain biking-focused weekend. The property was perfect - great location near the mountains, beautiful interior with great amenities. I appreciated having laundry and stocked cleaning supplies to keep the place tidy throughout our stay with a large group. Two dishwashers was also key. Parking was a bit tight - but that's my only complaint. Would stay here again 100%. Thanks!!!

Wonderful stay with an amazing view

The property is beautifully situated near a top of a hill with a large outdoor patio. Our group of 17 people could not have asked for better accommodations. The house came well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils. I would get more garbage bags and get ziploc bags and paper towels (not provided - explained by owner) especially for a large group. The shampoo and conditioner provided is small and there is no body wash, which is also explained by the owner, so I would definitely bring your own. There were plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and in great condition. There is a washer / dryer if you need to do laundry which comes in handy with such a big group. Overall a great stay and a wonderful weekend! Would definitely stay again.

Irresponsible and irresponsive host and ruin your vacation

If you want to experience dealing with the most irresponsible and irresponsive host and ruin your vacation miserably, then look no further than Stoneham Chalet. We were 17 people and had seniors and young kids, driving from Newyork city to Quebec City. This VRBO rental was a disaster. The owner was a liar who did not keep his word (which we had in writing) about the check-in time of 12:00pm. He left us hanging outside for 4 hours and 18 minutes without sending us the access code. He did not answer our phone calls and emails and ignored our pleas for help. We also contacted VRBO but they were useless and could not get in touch with him either. He was a jerk and a clown who had the nerve to laugh at us when he finally picked up the phone. He did not apologize or offer any compensation for our trouble. He ruined our vacation and made us miserable. Stay away from this rental. It was a nightmare. We are Vrbo experienced renters renting more than 35 properties over the years and we are not the ones who complain about tiny lil things the only reason we are sharing this is to save others from a traumatic experience.

Check-in is normally at 4:00 p.m. and you received the code at 4:07 p.m. I have already apologized to you and your guests for this inconvenience and even offered compensation for this inconvenience but you refused, out of frustration. Thereafter, you have used and enjoyed our chalet as intended use throughout your stay. In an email you sent us, you threatened to write a bad review if we didn't refund you the full price of your stay. In addition to the false statements about us that you make in your comments, with the aim of amplifying your situation as miserable people who have experienced psychological trauma and ruined their vacation in Quebec, I consider that there is an exaggeration your part following this inconvenience of a few minutes of waiting for the access code. Super belle place, des grandes pièces, et la vue WOW!! Très belle vue sur la pente de sky. La nuit c'estilluminé, magnifique. Le hot tub, les chambres, tout était super. Juste attention au parking qui est limité pour un chalet de 24 personnes, mais le stationnement au bas de la cote est gratuit et on a pu stationner quelques personnes la-ba pour les 2 nuits sans probleme!!

Amazing place for large crowds

I celebrated my birthday here with 24 friends, and what an amazing place. Everything is as shown in the pictures (and better). The fully-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare food and drinks for such a large group. Hottub is alao amazing. The owners were always a text message away, we needed to communicate a couple of times and they replied right away even late evening. The bbq is alao big and nice. The place was sparkling clean. It’s a bit far from Montreal, but was worth every minute of the ride, highly recommended and would go back agaun!
