Private Studio unit

Kick back and relax in this converted studio style private apartment in Howland twp.
private entrance private studio apartment style addition to the main house.
freshly renovated and features : queen size bed ( soft hybrid mattress) / shower panel / small kitchenette ( small fridge and microwave) / 2 seating spots " living room " with a 65" smart TV / 2 seating spot " dining area" / WiFi / free standing A/C ( not connected to the house so you can control desired temp)

The space

This is a converted addition to the main house - as such we wanted it to be completely separated so it has its own AC unit ( free standing unit that allows for guests to control the temperatures with a remote control).

it also uses its own water heater - please keep in mind it is a smaller " studio size heater" of 12 Gallons - so if you like to take long hot showers this will not be the unit for you ! ( we set water pressure to lower the consumption and with the cool shower feature we got it is possible to get 5-6 minutes hot shower water)

celling is low (7')

the unit is completely private. But we do not recommend long term stays ( 4/5 nightsat max )

we see this is a great alternative to a motel room since it will be cleaner / bigger /modern … and probably cheaper and that is the value.


the unit is prefect for a solo traveler ... or maybe a couple - booking is allowed between 1 night up to 5 night. we use the VRBO messaging to communicate with guest (and do not use the phone numbers provided ) - please make sure your notifications are on so we can answer any questions you might have during your stay.

I didn't have any interaction with the host.This rental was okay for a minimalist one night stay. The refrigerator was the smallest imaginable (like a mini-minifrig). There was only one little space heater in the corner, no central heat. And the homemade shower has no shower curtain, so no matter what you do, water gets on the floor. Other than these things the rental looks pretty much exactly as pictured.

The guest ignored my messages on the vrbo platform explaining to him how to start the actual heat unit ( the space heater was for supplement only ). The fridge is small - but it is there as a service to keep take out food or a couple of cans cold - the kitchenette is not ment for cooking , The unit is ment for short stay as in 1-3 nights and it’s in the listing description. The shower does not have a door since there will be no light - all the trim and floor are vinyl so if some water comes out it is fine - also there is a shower rug to take the water. The guest also took the remote for the garage with him and ignored the payment request to replenish To bad that the guest had 0 communication on the app
