This property was great for our multi generational family gathering in the blue ridge area! The location was very centrally located to a lot of great hikes and things to do. The property was a good size for all of us to fit. There was a bit of wear and tear on the property but that’s to be expected in a vrbo property. It was very well stocked with everything we might need. And the property is very serene. We had a wonderful stay! Host was extremely responsive as well.
Perfect property for a large family gathering, everyone had plenty of their own private space and there was lots of group commentary space. Location was perfect, best family vacation ever.
all rooms were clean and unique in their own way, the playroom/den was a hit with the teenagers, the movie room was great and a bonus for the ppl that would fall asleep at night seating is super comfy. Kitchen was great big enough for our big family 20. The ladies enjoyed the jacuzzi, kids had fun at night making smores on the fire pit. On the last night we even got a visit from one of the locals (bear looking for food by the trash) the kids had a blast talking about it on the check out morning. Cabin is in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge relatively short ride on either direction to get anything needed.
We went with a group of 20 folks and everyone raved about how cool this property is. There was room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the multitude of amenities; the speakeasy was such a cool spot for card games, we loved hanging out on the beautiful porch, and there were always people watching a game or movie in the theater room. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the fridge had enough space to store everyone’s food. The group says we should come back next year too!
Our stay at The Hidden Still was exactly as advertised & even better in so many ways! There were such unique touches throughout the home. We had plenty of room to spread out & have our own space but also come together, play guitar & sing, cook & eat, talk until the middle of the night. It was a fun time & we enjoyed ourselves. The time passed too quickly. Alexis was wonderful to work with & very responsive to my questions & the few small issues that came up. The directions she provided were perfect & we didn't have any issues. Check-in went great - no problems! I recommend this home 1000%!!
The host Alexis was so responsive & lovely throughout the entire process. The home was beautiful, large, and felt like a lovely retreat. The firepit facing the lake, the dock, the hot tub, we sat on the upper deck for hours. Honestly, a getaway to remember forever. Can’t wait to book again!
This property was nothing short of amazing! The hosts were so attentive and responsive which made the check in and check out experience seamless. I arrived first and almost got lost while traveling to the property, but the owners provided step by step directions to me the day before which I was able to follow. The property looks even better than the photos! The hot tub, pool table and speakeasy were the highlights. Overall, I loved my stay and I will definitely be booking again!
This is by far one of the best short term rentals we have experienced. If you like the No. GA mountains and great water views, this is for you. This is a great rental for large multi-generational family groups. Close to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Very clean and well appointed. The hosts have pretty much cover everything. Communication was great, check-in and check-out were super easy. We would highly recommend. If fact, we will likely repeat.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group. The location was excellent—just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with easy access to everything. We also understood we were visiting over the Fourth of July holiday and expected to pay a premium. The reason for the 3-star review is the property's outdoor amenities, specifically the "lakefront" description. Unfortunately, this was misleading. There is no usable lake behind the home. The water is only a few inches deep, making the provided kayaks and paddleboards unusable. We even spoke with a neighbor who said the lake has not been at a usable level for years.Several outdoor features also need maintenance. The steps toward the water felt unstable, the pathway lights didn't work, the hot tub never got hot and only one jet functioned, the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit were worn and breaking, and the cornhole boards and bags were in poor condition. The fire pit area is also uneven, making the seating uncomfortable. We've visited Blue Ridge many times and always had great experiences. While we liked the home and location, we feel the listing overstates the outdoor experience, particularly the "lakefront" feature, which influenced our decision to book. We hope the listing is updated to better reflect the current condition for future guests.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, and we’re glad the home itself, the space, and the location worked well for your group and you enjoyed your stay.
We do want to address the lake directly, since accuracy matters to us. The lake is real and it is usable, we and our guests have personally kayaked and paddleboarded it many times, and the listing photos reflect the property as it actually looks. This is also the first time we’ve heard the lake description called overstated. Water levels do fluctuate with rainfall, and this year in particular hasn’t brought the levels up as much as usual, so we’re sorry it wasn’t where you’d hoped during your stay. Please understand that the rainfall is out of our control. We’ll look at how we can set clearer expectations around seasonal water levels going forward.
As for the hot tub, lighting, chairs, and cornhole set, we take that seriously. Nothing was flagged to us during your stay, but we’re evaluating each item you mentioned and addressing what needs repair or replacement. On the steps specifically, we agree they were due for a refresh and already had a replacement scheduled this month.
We hope you’ll consider giving us another shot in the future.
