Our Vrbo stay was lovely. A last minute decision to visit Blowing Rock turned into an amazing discovery of the NC mountains. The condo was an excellent choice.
Wife and I stayed for a getaway weekend to Blowing Rock. The property was great - everything was clean, quiet and conveniently located. Had a wonderful stay. Look forward to coming back for a longer trip to take advantage of more of the resort activities.
The property was wonderful! Decor was beautiful. It was clean, kitchen was equipped with all we needed, and beds were comfortable. We will definitely rent this condo again in the future!
This was our first stay at Chetola and we could not have been more impressed. The condo was clean, comfy and just what we needed. The staff at Chetola were so kind, informative and always available. We had a great time!
Wonderful location , walk to the town Blowing Rock. Beautiful setting on Lake Chetola. Spent a nice day at the spa. Condo was clean and comfortable.
Wonderful fall visit.
Wonderful place. Very clean, quiet, grounds are lovely and the town of Blowing Rock is so nice. Beautiful place to getaway, Boone is also lovely. Lots of places to wonder around and see. If visiting make sure you drive up the road to the Blowing Rock Park, the view is stunning and worth the money. Enjoyed my stay very much. Also bed was awesome!!
Property is beautiful. Amenities are top notch (if you are included to use them). Just sitting on your private balcony with a glass of wine and solitude is great too. The onsite restaurant is great, as is the pub if you do not want to stroll through town. Our first time visiting Chetola...we WILL be back.

NC High Country at its Best!
We enjoyed every aspect of this property and the resort. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Unit is very quiet and private with the comforts of home. Will definitely stay here again. Check in process needed to be communicated before arrival. The number listed as the property manager did not return any phone messages (2) or text messages (4). Check in is at the resort hotel front desk. Once we figured this out all went very smoothly.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Chetola Resort. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the resort again soon.
This one-bedroom condo had everything we needed. It was inviting and beautifully decorated; a great space for a couple to enjoy. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the property and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The wood-burning fireplace was warm and cozy and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Although the bathroom was VERY clean, aesthetically speaking some updates would be nice (new shower, new sink faucet, double sink vanity), but that’s a personal preference and would NOT deter us from staying here again. There’s not really a “view” from the balcony but that wasn’t an issue for us (just mentioning for those who might want to know). It was a nice place to sit and view the deer coming out to feed tho (we saw about 10, numerous times). All in all, this was a great place to stay and we would highly recommend this unit. (Finch 3)
We had a wonderful stay at this condo and would absolutely return. One of the best parts was how peaceful it felt—no buildings directly in front of the unit or balcony, which gave us a real sense of privacy and calm. It was also incredibly walkable (if you're good with some steep uphill points) to everything we wanted to do, including downtown and Moses Cone Park, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The space was comfortable, quiet inside, and made for a great home base. A few small notes that might help future guests have an even better experience: there are several A/C units located just outside the deck, and since only one of them belongs to this unit, you may occasionally hear the others running. It didn’t affect our time indoors, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re planning to spend a lot of time outside on the balcony. Also, it would be wonderful to have USB or more accessible outlets near the bed—currently, you’ll need to bring your own charger with a longer cord or plug in devices elsewhere in the room. These are small things in an otherwise lovely stay, but we mention them as helpful suggestions for an even smoother guest experience.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and appreciated the thought that went into making the space welcoming and comfortable.
My husband and I stayed two nights in this adorable rental while in town to ski. The check-in process at the resort was a breeze. The lady that checked us in was very kind and helpful, even drawing us a map to find our rental. The unit was clean and well appointed, though we didn’t utilize the kitchen during our stay - having the option was nice. We assumed from the listing that the fireplace would be gas - however it is wood-burning. There is firewood for sale at the main resort where you check in if you desire. The bed was very comfortable, large closet for storing clothes/gear, nice bathroom/shower, and even a washer/dryer! We also visited the pool/hot tub/sauna one night which was nice and clean. We had hoped to eat at the on-site restaurant but no openings were available for the nights we were there, so consider booking ahead of time if you’d like to do this. Also, this particular unit is at the top of a rather steep hill, so AWD/4WD when snow is forecasted is a must. We saw several people slipping/sliding/getting stuck as it snowed while we were there. Overall we absolutely loved our time in Blowing Rock, and this resort/rental was the cherry on top! Beautiful Christmas decor/lights still up with the snow made it feel like a storybook!
