Greek Island Beach Retreat

Villa Katerina is situated on the eastern side of the island of Rhodes, about a 55-minute drive from the airport. It is located a few kilometers past the charming town of Lindos. Villa Katerina is comprised of two structures nestled in a grove of pine trees. Pefkos means 'pines' in Greek. There is a restored traditional Rhodian-style farmhouse and a more modern detached art studio. The main house comprises three-bedrooms (sleeping up to 6 people), two upstairs with queens size mattresses, and one downstairs, with twin beds, 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, a small living room, a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, and a large veranda overlooking the garden and a grove of pine trees. The garden also includes a brick-built BBQ. Off to the side, up a short stone path, is the art studio, which has a bedroom and bathroom, which is presently unfortunately not available. Though a car is highly recommended, the villa is just a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop which connects with the rest of the island.

Down the driveway and a path lies lovely Pefkos Main Beach, less than a two-minute walk. Conveniently, there is a shower at that entrance of the beach so when leaving the beach, it is easy to rinse off feet, body, and toys. There is also an outside shower on the side of the main cottage to rinse off when back from the beach.

There is a washer and line to dry clothes on in the Mediterranean sun.

We regret to inform you that we cannot accept requests from families with children under three years old. The house has a steep set of stairs, which are not easily blocked, and has accessible electrical outlets not to mention an open pine grove. We have no way to make the house "baby" safe.
