Sandcroft Beach House

Sandcroft is a spacious two-story beach front cabin located in the quiet community of Neskowin. This home is one of the original houses in Neskowin (i.e. rustic). It is a large 'beach cabin' yet has an updated kitchen and modern amenities. It is set back off the street in a lush setting; perfect for family reunions, romantic getaways, or corporate retreats. Listen to the surf and enjoy the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean right from the deck.

The first floor has one bedroom (sleeps 2), one bath, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room that seats 10. A great family/living room with a huge fireplace that adds to the perfect beach atmosphere (firewood provided by owner). Upstairs has 5 bedrooms and one large full bathroom. Upstairs bedrooms include: 2 Kings, 1 Queen and four twin beds. The 1st floor has a wrap-around deck with a gas BBQ and there is a deck off of a 2nd floor bedroom. There is a private path that leads to the beach and 'Proposal Rock' is just a short walk to the south.

We have parking for up to 6 cars. Ask owner regarding pets. Maximum occupancy: 12.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. We are located 15 minutes from Lincoln City and Pacific City.

Fabulous Beach House!

We’ve been heading to Neskowin for years and have to say this is one of the best beach houses we have ever stayed at. We especially loved the rustic aesthetic, but the kitchen was easy to work in and the house is overall well appointed. Looking forward to a trip back in the near future.

Amazing home away from home

We had a great time. The little town of Neskowin is so charming. The beach was perfect with a great tide pool for the kids. The furnishings in the house were comfortable and so lovely. We will be back for sure!

Perfect place for family get together

This was our second time the women in our family from around the country came together at Sandcroft. It has the privacy of individual bedrooms but the togetherness of a big open living/dining room. We made good use of the fireplace. It has solid cookware and a big enough kitchen for several people to cook together. We had 11 people with an age range of 3 to 82. The walk to the beach through the dunes gives the place a feeling of solitude and quiet. The decor is understated and rustic but not shabby, and not overly-cute or nautical. WONDERFUL place to bring family together.

Better than advertised

The house was beautiful inside and out and ready for guests! Everything we needed. Amazing views of the beach, peaceful short walk to the beach. Check-in was a breeze and management was communicative. Would go back.

Great Beach get away!

The house and property were beautiful and well stocked for a weekend to stay in and enjoy friends and family. The location, scenery, and house were amazing. The only offset was strength of the internet was weak which was only an issue with 12 people trying to use it at the same time, but you can only only expect so much.

1980 Softball Reunion

Our stay was amazing and we all agreed it would not have been the same without the great big table for meals and game playing, and the ambiance of the fireplace. 6 bedrooms helped, and two bathrooms was not an issue. We will come here again.

Fantastic stay!

Wonderful open plan downstairs with lots of room to spread out and enjoy time together or separately. This was probably the best stocked vacation rental that I ever visited. It had absolutely everything that you would need for a fantastic stay. Fun rustic touches and 2 minute walk to the beach. We had 4 kiddos under 7 and they loved it. Lots of room to play and short saunter to the beach. We will be back!

Best Beach House!

The first time out on this stunning deserted beach we spotted a whale! What a great way to start our stay at this roomy, comfortable and charming beach house. We all loved the dutch doors and wonderful wraparound porch. Dog and kid friendly with plenty of toys, games and books. Smiling people walking their dogs along narrow lanes, 15 mph speed limits, little traffic, quaint beach cottages. I want to go back already!

We had a great time being together. there was plenty of space for everyone. We spent a lot of time on the beach which was near. We would have spent more if the weather was warmer.. An absolute gem

Everything that you see in the listing is true. This is a fantastic family home just oozing with personality and lots of stories. Great layout for larger groups…don’t let the 2 bathrooms scare you. It wasn’t even an issue. Super comfortable beds, games galore, wood for the fireplace, well equipped kitchen and a great location. We WILL be coming back!

Enjoyed our stay

The property is as advertised. It's an old house, but we found it to be authentic and met the needs of our group. We had concerns about only 2 bathrooms, but it wasn't an issue. This house easily held 8 adults and 5 children so it seemed bigger than 2300 sq ft. The house has an enormous wood burning fireplace with wood provided by the owner. There was a path to the beach right from the back of the house. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the house and in the town of Neskowin and would love to come back.

An enchanting house in a perfect location

I have been coming to Neskowin for over 70 years (my grandparents had a cabin in the old section of town) and adore the little town. I wanted to introduce my family to this wonderful beach town and needed a large enough house to accommodate 11 people. We range in age from 7 to 77. This house could not have been more perfect! It is large enough to spread out and everyone had a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped and nicely updated. The location was great, just a 20 minute walk to Proposal Rock. We timed our two visits to the Rock so that the tide was low enough to walk around and see the tide pools and three of the four grandchildren (intrepid adventurers that they are), climbed up to the top and felt quite proud of themselves. The deck was perfect for lounging in the afternoon sun, and there were games and puzzles aplenty to keep everyone entertained. It's the kind of place that makes you feel immediately at home. Everyone in the family is wanting a return trip and I hope to make that happen. I have no complaints on any aspect of our stay. It was an enchanting house in a perfect location!

We loved the location and found it very easy to get to the beach from the house. It's a relatively short walk on the beach to the center of the charming town of Neskowin. Even with our large family, the six bedrooms were enough to accommodate us, and we loved the large living/dining area where we could all be together. The weather was a bit chilly, so we really appreciated the large fireplace and provided firewood. The kitchen was very roomy, so it was easy for us to cook our meals there. Overall, we were happy with the Sandcroft Beach House, and we look forward to our next stay there.

Loved our Stay!

Having seen the online write up and video, I was expecting to really like the house and setting. First impression was very positive -- cozy, aesthetically pleasing, plenty of space, wonderful views, access to ocean. The amenities were great --kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked, appliances worked, fridge size was ample, bedrooms had excellent lighting, linens, and mattresses, and wonderful toys for two kids aged 6-1/2 and 4 and adult games and puzzles for 10 adults aged 24 to 83. Liked the quiet and quaintness of a small village. We found two paths to the ocean -- one for nimbler bodies and the other fairly flat. Next store neighbor was very friendly and invited the two kids to come swing on their tire. One potential problem was was the railing on the porch which needs repair n a few places. River kayaking in nearby Salmon River and great hiking in the mountains. Thank you!

Family getaway

Wonderful beach house with old school charm and just a short walk to a fabulous beach. The weather was perfect for our walks on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and the dining table large enough for all of us to sit and play games. A great place for making family memories.

Wonderful time at the Sandcroft Beach House!

The Sandcroft Beach House was the perfect place for our Sisters-By-The-Sea retreat! With 11 of us, ranging in ages from 1 year old to 67 year old, there was plenty of room to spread out! Everything about the home was perfect for all our needs...kitchen very well stocked, bedrooms beautiful and inviting, everything in every room clean and well organized. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

an amazing old property with modern conveniences

This is a beautiful old home in a private beach-front setting. A short walk and a rugged path to the beach brings you to the Neskowin shore. The house is clean and convenient and is a great place for a large family vacation. We have rented it for three years, and will go back next year.

Love Sandcroft!

Great house for a big family. Big kitchen is great and well equipped. Kitchen was quite clean but bathroom floors and counters weren't so much, not a problem for us but I did notice. Communication with Tracy was easy. We've stayed several times and will again.
