We would like to clarify that functioning bathtub jets are not listed or advertised as an amenity of the property, and therefore were not included as part of the accommodations offered with the reservation. We also appreciate you bringing the exterior trash area and boards near the deck to our attention. As a frequently occupied home, there may occasionally be items awaiting scheduled removal between stays, and we are always happy to address concerns brought to our attention. Given that the concerns mentioned were limited to exterior items and a feature not included among the property’s advertised amenities, we were surprised to see an overall rating of 4/10—particularly alongside your acknowledgment that the home itself was nice to stay in. We value constructive feedback and remain committed to providing our guests with a clean, comfortable, and accurately represented stay. We take guest concerns seriously; however, we strongly dispute several statements made in this review and have submitted the matter to VRBO for review. During this reservation, the oven door glass was shattered and a television was damaged. A damage claim was subsequently submitted through the appropriate process, and the claim was resolved in our favor. This review was posted following that dispute. Regarding the A/C, once we were notified of the issue, we communicated with the guests and took steps to address it as promptly as possible. The guests also had the option to discontinue their stay if they felt the accommodations were unsuitable, but elected to remain at the property for the duration of their reservation. We also strongly dispute the characterization of the home as having an ongoing “ant infestation” or “flea problem.” We have operated in the hospitality space for more than five years, take property maintenance and pest concerns seriously, and address reported issues accordingly. We understand that guests and hosts may have disagreements, particularly when property damage is involved. However, reviews should provide a fair and accurate representation of the stay and should not be used as a response to the outcome of a damage claim. Due to the nature and timing of these allegations, we have formally reported this review and the associated account to VRBO for further review. We remain committed to maintaining our home, responding to legitimate concerns, and providing future guests with a comfortable and professionally managed stay.

Randy, you are by far the most disrespectful guest we have encountered in our three years of hosting. Attempting to verbally attack our team was completely unacceptable. We are grateful for our manager, who remained professional and helped de-escalate the situation during your violent episodes. After your various episodes, She also offered you the option to leave the premises with a full refund, which you declined & desired to stay. Regarding your complaints: • The TV in the living area was in perfect working condition prior to your stay. Once the issue was brought to our attention, a replacement TV was provided to you within less than 24 hours to ensure your comfort. • The sliding door slat is an added safety measure that has been part of the home for years. This provides security for guests & their families. • The photo you posted of the broken wood shows a chair that was damaged / broken by your husband during your stay in which you reported this to us. Yes, We have also made elevated additions and renovations to enhance guest comfort in recent months. Your complaints about these improvements are unfounded. In all our years of hosting, we have never experienced a guest behaving in such an inappropriate and disrespectful manner. While you had repeatedly via phone conversation with our manager , compared our home to other stays, it is important to note that our property is accurately depicted in the listing and has received many positive reviews over the years. Our management team advises that, in the future, you select accommodations that better align with your expectations for luxury or upscale standards. Our home is maintained and cared for. Thus, according to our policies and listing photos, and we continue to provide a quality experience for all guests. Thank you !

We value guest feedback; however, the statements made in this review do not accurately reflect the events of this stay. At no time during the reservation were we notified of plumbing issues, cleanliness concerns, missing supplies, or any need for maintenance support. After checkout, the property was found with documented damage and evidence of smoking throughout the entire home, which is a direct violation of our house rules. These findings were identified following departure and have been reported through the appropriate channels. If the concerns referenced in this review had been communicated during the stay, we would have taken immediate steps to address them, as timely resolution is a priority for us. We are currently working with VRBO Customer Support and have provided documentation regarding the condition of the home both prior to and following this stay. We stand by the accuracy of our listing and the standards upheld for our property. Guests who do not honor our home & house rules will not be welcomed back. Thank you.
