About the host
Hosted by Dawn Browne-Crisler

Hi! We are the Crisler Family and owners of Crisler Cabin in Skykomish, WA. We currently live in Everett, WA and spend lots of time outdoors in Puget Sound and the Cascades. Matt is originally from St. Charles, MO and Dawn is from Maryland, Virginia and Florida and lots of places in between. We have two teenagers who to explore the outdoor playground at the doorsteps of the cabin.
Why they chose this property
Dawn purchased the land in 1996 after falling in love with the area on a camping trip while visiting Washington State. After years of planning we finally built in 2009 and have many happy times in this magical area with friends and family.
What makes this property unique
You will love the peace and tranquility of the cabin setting. The decks have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and wooded acres. The stars are especially bright in this area with no light pollution. Short or long walks abound right from the doorsteps of the cabin to nearby Money Creek, Miller River, and the Skykomish River. A short drive will take you to dozens of trailheads and gateways to the Alpine Lake Wilderness and Wild Sky Wilderness Areas. Stevens Pass Ski area is just 15 minutes up the road and many snowshoeing trails nearby.
