Beautifully appointed apartment in great location.
Our family of five slept there very comfortably. We really appreciated the communication from the host. This was our first time in Halifax, what a wonderful way to experience its charming neighborhoods

Great location…close to the warf
The place was in a great location. We were glad for the 4 beds but felt it was a little pricey. It was clean but not a place I would go back to. The decor was interesting…😳

I really appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. Thank you very much!
It was a cute little place. Comfortable, convenient (there's grocery store within walking distance (two blocks).
Hosts are great, responsive, accommodating.
Little extras you wouldn't expect to find. Makes you feel taken care of.

Thank you very much for your visit, Faith. You have been a wonderful guest and are welcome to visit anytime.
Property was clean and well located. Suited our needs for a brief stay. Kitchen sparsely stocked with either staples or implements, but reasonable restaurants nearby. I personally prefer more counter space and functionality than artificial flowers on tables and decorative lamps that don’t work.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience!
We stayed here for a few days and enjoyed our time! The location was great for walking around and enjoying the neighbourhood. Parking at the property was straightforward.
The rooms were decent, beds were okay but not great. The kitchen area is quite small. We liked the old timey feel of the place.
Communication with the owner was excellent, very quick replies! We would stay here again, and I recommend this host.
This is a fine property for a short stay in Halifax. It is an apartment within a house. It is clean and in a decent neighborhood near downtown (short drive, not walking distance). The beds are comfortable. The rooms are small and there is little room to stash anything (no dressers) , so the property is best suited for a short stay.

Thank you, Paul. It was a pleasure to welcome you!
Nice treats upon arrival; welcoming atmosphere; good kitchen supplies. Great location and lots of space.
Needs a bathmat and grippers in the slippery tub. And a compost bin. Also, an info sheet on tv channels would have been helpful.
The house is old and a little tired looking but clean. We were two adults living there for 11 days and 12 nights. We had two other adults stay one day and night in the middle of the stay. Sharing one bathroom with four adults was a little inconvenient; doing so with more would be a significant challenge. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed but very small. There is a small round table in the kitchen that can fit two people at a time as long as one doesn't need to access the fridge or dishwasher. The beds are all comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with two sinks. Good water pressure and hot water. Convenient location only 30 minutes by foot to downtown. Holly was very pleasant and responsive. Good experience overall

We loved the location of the property the most, it was very easy to navigate the city from here either by bus or on foot. The apartment I have very mixed feelings about. Holly the host was great and a very nice lady when I had to contact her regarding an AC unit that had to be installed in one of the bedrooms. However there were many things that were not up to standard, no lock on bathroom door, no cupboards for food, listing said house had a sofa bed it did not, no dressers in the bedrooms for clothing, no AC in living room or master bedroom. Parking on the driveway was a nightmare, with the other cars and a step that juts out you have to be a world class reverse parker. We stayed here as 2 friends with 3 teenagers I think with the size of this property it would be best suited to 2 or 3 adults max.
I loved the location, the apartment has a lot of room and the kitchen is great. I had two minor problems and the landlord dealt with them that day which was excellent service. There was just a couple of little things that would have made the stay much more enjoyable which are easy to implement. Because of only the one bathroom, it would have been nice to have mirrors in each bedroom so the ladies could get ready in their rooms. Also, there was only 3 bath/ large towels and our group ended up sharing towels. More bath/large towels could have resolved this. There was lots of hand towels. There was lots of shampoo etc provided as well as coffee/ tea. there is a steep flight of stairs to climb to get to the apartment so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. Overall a great place to stay.
