Liberty Square, where you can hop on board a boat to Fort Sumter, is one mile east, while the Historic Charleston City Market is one mile southeast.

Fabulous historic house near King Street. This house was a beautiful home full of historic charm. Very comfortable and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. My only recommendation would be to provide shades that pull all the way down in the master bedroom. Everything else was perfect!! I highly recommend this property.

The house is very charming and large enough for the 5 of us to be comfortable. The interior is a little tired and could stand to be freshen up a little. That is the reason for not giving highest star rating, Besides that we enjoyed our stay. I would love to know the age and history of the house. This is a gem of a find! A perfect mix of affordability, location and charm. Just a block off King street with its fabulous shopping, dining, and entertainment, this is exactly the type of charming residence one hopes to experience in historic Charleston. It is well stocked with thoughtful touches in the kitchen and bathrooms. Incredibly clean, the colonial charm pervades this home while simultaneously offering modern comforts.
