Hey all. You need to fix the leaking kitchen sink, and the code box worked one of 7 attempts so u need a new battery of a new box. Otherwise- All Good!
The condo was beautifully appointed, very clean, and extremely comfortable. We have been staying on IOP for over 15 years and have stay in the Port O'Call resort 2 other times, and this unit is as nice as any. Also, the property manager Casago was very responsive to inquiries and gave very clear and detailed instructions on access to the property and amenities availalbe.
We’ve visited Wild Dunes before and this location was perfect. Access to relatively private beach was amazing. The unit itself while comfortable, but as others have stated, can definitely use some updating.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time staying here! It was very clean and located in such a cute area with beach access and lots of walking areas. We walked over to the sweet grass hotel and they had a great pizza restaurant to try. Overall we loved our stay and had a very easy check in process. Would love to come again!
The listing was exactly as it read. The location was perfect. The amenities were spot on. The furnishings were clean and well maintained! It was a wonderful experience!!!!
The porch was the best thing. Very comfortable furniture, great ocean sounds and visible ocean waves. The bed and living room furniture were also very comfortable. The TV is a bit small. Noise from people walking upstairs can be distracting and sleep disturbing. The kitchen is small and lacks some basics. Bring your own salt, pepper and any foil, plastic wraps you may need. Still a good value. Check in and out were super easy. I would stay here again.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
IOP 1 bedroom unit
With the exception of the re-modeled bathroom, the unit is outdated with older dingy furniture, poorly stock kitchen pots and pans. Several old wooden bifold doors do not close. Luckily, most of our time at IOP was spent at the beach or pool.
I would not select this unit for my next visit to IOP.

We arrived later than we thought it was dark. We had to get a vehicle pass at the gate to Wild Dunes. No address was listed for the gate at Wild Dunes. So went to one gate then we told to go to another gate. Directions to the gate would have solved the issue. The condo was clean, comfortable and close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay after we got in. Bring coffee filters as we got a compliment gift of coffee but there were no coffee filters. Oh and bring salt and pepper. There was multiple seasonings but no salt and pepper.

Please know that our guest services team is available 24 hours a day to assist should any concerns arise during your visit. We hope you choose to stay with us again!
We have a high schooler and middle schooler. We had to book during one of two dead periods for NC high school sports and this unit was perfect for our schedule.
We have stayed in Wild Dunes at a different Port O Call unit so we were aware of the layout. At that time our old was 5 year old only so it’s been a while.
Pros: love the gated community of Wild Dunes. Proximity to Mt Pleasant shopping is ideal but not commercialized like Myrtle. Beach was not overly crowded. Also love Port O Call for being beach front.
Cons: Unit is semi updated. For our family of 4 it was suitable for a few days at the beach but not a week. Not sure if it’s true of all units but this one has varying ceiling heights, very low in kitchen and entryway. Our oldest son is 6’6” and hit his head on the light fixture in the kitchen. Speaking of kitchen, it’s very tight. Not suitable for more than one person at a time. Frig door cannot open fully without hitting opposite counter. May not be an issue for everyone but worth noting if you have taller people in your group. Also, lots of noise from the unit above. Must have had a toddler that was constantly running. Obviously not the fault of management or owners but likely just age of the building.
