Consider visiting the local marina nearby, which offers access to watersports, boat rentals, and more - or drive a short 17 miles to world-class restaurants in beautiful historic downtown Charleston. Book a boat tour to truly admire the Charleston harbor and spot some dolphins. Check in is no where near as hard as other reviews make it seem. Just follow simple directions and READ what the host sends you and it’s really a breeze. The property grounds are beautiful and the condo is very nice. Some things I would consider are if you plan to cook in the unit there are bare essentials so bring a larger pan, sharp knives etc. we weren’t necessarily planning cooking but that’s the one thing I would consider upgrading in the unit is the cookware. The beds are also very comfortable. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on a vacation

The reviews about check in were helpful. You have to have the property name and unit number. The property is so nice, clean and quiet. This condo is convenient to both the pool and beach.

The condo was spacious and comfortable. Nice views from the deck. The beds in the twin bedroom were hard as a rock, and both of our kids had a hard time sleeping The shower was broken in that bathroom, so we all had to share the master bathroom until someone came to look at it, but if you touched it, it would break again. The master bathroom ceiling was peeling badly and had a strong suffer smell. It was an ok place, and I appreciated the washing machine and dryer, but we've paid a lot less for much nicer properties at other beaches.

Views and grounds were amazing. Condo needs some attention in the primary shower ceiling. kitchen counters are cracked floors cracked kitchen sink faucet leaks and no stopper. Overall comfortable setting but definitely needs updating. Pool area was wonderful. Surroundings were peaceful.

Property was clean and accurately described in the listing. When we had issues verifying our ID through the VRBO app, the host was very helpful. Location was excellent with access to pool and short walk to beach. Downfall of the property was the unfortunate sewer gas smell in the master bath shower. The shower is built up about 7” from the floor and challenging to step into safely. Overall, the unit was spacious and well presented. Would give 5 stars, if it weren’t for the shower.

Wonderful spot!

The property was extremely clean and came as advertised. The beach was fantastic and within a short distance walk. The pool was wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful family vacation.

The location and timing were perfect. A couple hiccups checking in. It's the Wind Dunes resident gate you need to go thru and you need the condo name and number. Shipwatch 116 is what the guard wanted to let us in. Confirmation numbers or address won't get you in!Also we had to use a 10 digit code every time we wanted to open the door. There was a 4 digit lock box with key but we didn't get that number even after emailing to ask for it. We did memorize the 10 digit code after using it so many time!

Great location

The property is in a gated community, which decreasd beach traffic and made our days in the sun more enjoyable. The accommodations were spacious enough for my family and everything we needed was there. Great balcony view and great local restaurants, too.

Senior trip

No problems with checkin. Clean condo in a quiet location. The island can get crowded and traffic backs up at times during peak season. A little overpriced for a week rental in my opinion but enjoyed the stay for somewhere different.
