Stroll up the short ramp to the front door and discover Studio 54's spectacular location! Watching the sunrise over the junction of three canals, framed by an ancient live oak, is a perfect start to your day. This quintessential beach cottage in friendly Brigand's Bay has received a major update for 2021: completely new bathrooms; new kitchen appliances; new Kingsdown queen beds, new flooring and carpeting throughout, and many other enhancements. Comfortable furniture, new (in 2020) Smart TV, and a well-equipped kitchen make Studio 54 perfect for couples, a small family, or a fishing party. The dock can welcome a 24-foot boat, plus three short steps down to the canal make launching your canoe or kayak easy. The deck has a loveseat swing perfect for romantic moments. Just minutes by boat to the sound and a quick ride to the best beaches, Studio 54 helps make your vacation great!

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.


Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Perfect for us!

This house is amazing! It starts with the ramp access, which is helpful to someone who has trouble with mobility. Everything is just amazing with the dock, the ramp to takeoff on your kayak, and the treehouse, which is fun for kids! We’ve been in this house twice, and I’ve already rented it for next year!

This home was great for our family of five (kids ages 12, 7, and 2). We wanted something with minimal stairs, space for everyone, and something to keep us busy...this house had it all. My husband and sons loved crabbing off the dock and swinging in the tree. Our daughter loved having her own room. I loved the hammock swing. Thank you for a great stay!

Great little place!

The property was clean and in working order, minor issue with dryer was fixed fast. Great neighborhood for my kids to ride bicycles and us to get a walk in….did a little fishing out back and lots of swinging! We loved this place, we had three adults and two kids but still perfect for 2 to 6 people. Normal weathering/wear and tear outside on ramp, treehouse and dock but fully expected !

Great little beach cottage!

We loved this little beach Cottage! Especially the location, the dock and the backyard. You are a mile or so down from the drive on beach access…you do have to pay for a permit, but it is totally worth it! The house is cute, beds were comfortable, good hot water with good pressure in both bathrooms. All appliances worked and the AC was cold and consistent. Great place for a family with younger kids!

Spent a lot of time on the wonderful deck that also had a handicap ramp! This made it really easy on my feet and for rolling the suitcases into the house! Very relaxing! Close to Hatteras area and the ferry to Ocracoke!

Perfect Choice!

Studio 54 is by far my favorite home that we have rented on Hatteras Island. The location is very convenient and the community where it is located is very peaceful. View of the water from the deck is so relaxing! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals and the home was super clean. Pride of ownership is incredibly apparent here! This truly felt like a home away from home rather than a vacation rental. Highly recommend!

Relaxing spot

We enjoyed staying in the house and it was as described. We enjoyed being able to relax and the peace and quiet that comes with staying a neighborhood where most of the homes are residents. The home was well equipped and the backyard was great for the kids. We did have a visitor (neighborhood dog) who ate our snacks out of our beach bag at night. We also enjoyed watching the squirrels in the trees on the property. Overall, it was a very nice trip and the house was well enjoyed.

I really liked not having to climb a lot of stairs. There were a few minor issues but not enough to ruin our vacation. I probably would not rent this place again just because of personal preference on bed size and room size.

Short Stay

It was just the wife and I in September. Great place, location was great because of surf fishing, neighbors friendly and helpful. Space would be good for small family or couples getaway. Now for the bad stuff... Don't go into the back yard without bug spray on, the mosquitoes will bleed you. I had to sweep the deck and ramp. There were little acorns that hurt when stepped on bare footed. That's all, not all that bad. Christine was a BIG help in the office. Thank you
