Imagine yourself in this hand hewed log cabin surrounded by authentic Indian décor & vintage Smokey Mountain antiques. Built in 1921 and completely renovated in 2013, we were able to restore the original luster of the hand hewed log walls and stone fireplace, and then we adding a few modern conveniences. The new, fully stocked kitchen features hickory cabinets and updated appliances. Enjoy romantic barbecues on the new deck or relax under the stars in your own private hot tub. The Magnificent Aspen Log Bed is a once in a lifetime experience. But, if you absolutely have to bring the kids, there is an Aspen daybed & trundle complete with memory foam mattresses.

Well-behaved, housebroken dogs are always welcome. We kindly ask that all pets are treated with flea and tick meds prior to arrival. PLEASE NOTE: We have a one time $75 pet fee that covers two dogs.

Don’t spend your entire vacation driving back & forth to Asheville. Cedar Mountain Lodge is located super close to Downtown Asheville & the world famous Biltmore Estates. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just 3 miles from the cabin. This historic log cabin is close enough to enjoy hiking or horseback riding through the day & all that the city has to offer at night.
