About this property

The residence is a beautiful family property on a slope with a great view to the Aegean Sea, only 1.5 km from Skyros town.

In this very comfortable and rustic- modern decorated house there is new and old furniture which create an unforgettable and artistic atmosphere that you will love.

Every room is designed specifically for comfort and relaxation.
The sunlit and airy living- dining room, fully equipped with household appliances, plasma tv (Smart Led TV - Netflix) is an ideal space for friend or family gathering.

The main bedroom, which is 30m² (6,80 * 4,30), is a cosy room, with a double and a single bed, a spacious wardrobe and a private double floored porch in which there is a bathroom of exceptional decoration, out of sight and privy with a spectacular view to the sea.

The other bedroom (28m²) is a studio with an additional entrance that offers privacy to guests while there is still indoor access to the rest of the house and to the main bathroom. This room has two floors. There are two metal antique single beds downstairs and one comfy double bed upstairs in the attic. The room has a private small yard that also offers magnificent view to the sea.

In the same property you can find painting and woodcarving workshops as well as a traditional house where you will have the chance to have a look and learn from us about our ancestors’ way of living. This guided visit is a special offer from us as well as any information and guidance that you might need in order to have a more comfortable holiday.

The trip to Skyros offers everything someone might need on holiday: outstanding food, marvelous beaches and most of all culture and local tradition! The beaches of Skyros are known for their crystal water and the exquisite landscape that surrounds them.
The nearest beach (4- 5 minutes on foot), visible from the house’s porches, is called Chatzigeraki and is a quiet location with pure water. Close enough to the house there is a supermarket that offers free delivery services.

A dream in white and turquoise..!

We came to Skyros the five of us, my wife me and our three daughters with the ferry from Kymi after a week of traveling in the main land of Greece. The traveling by sea was a beautiful way to arrive to that Paradise named Skyros.. All the procedure of getting in the ferry belly with our car and coming out was very professionally done by the crew and made it easy. It took us 15min to get from Linaria port to The Plori House by car.. The owners stood by the road waving for us ..Yassas! We fell in love from firs sight with Emmanouela and Lefteris a beautiful couple with high sensitivity and qualities for art and design. The Plori House is located on a small hill just above the sea,not far from the main city (Skyros Hora) It has a wide living room with an accessorized open kitchen and a large veranda facing the sea..great for late brunch and dinners. The parents bedroom is big and well designed, it has a veranda facing sea with an outdoor toilet and a shower ..we loved it! The girls bedroom was located at the other side of the house and had a bathroom next to it..so we could all have our own privacy when needed ; -) The house was built and design by Lefteris and Emmanouela and you could feel it in every little corner, from the doors and windows that were costume made to the pictures and the delicate decoration that creates the magical ambiance. All facilities were working good..air conditions, dishwasher, laundry machine etc... and every couple of days the house was cleaned with new bed linen and towels, ready for our summer vacation mess.. (-; The Plori House is a place for relaxing and contemplating, it is perfect for a family vacation or just a couple. The nearest beach is just across the road and takes five minutes walk or 2 minutes by car. It is very recommended to have a vehicle in the island for there are many unusual beaches and sites worth visiting ! The food was remarkably good in all the restaurant all over the island. We love coking so we made some local Skrian dishes at home witch came out delicious ! Emmanouela and Lefteris were always very happy to help and guide us for the best beaches and Taverns. We would recommend the Plori House in Skros with all our hearts, its beautiful deep turquoise sea, the good food and positive citizens. Thank you very much..hope to see you next summer !
